25/10/2018 11:58 | So why are you still here then? | investordave
25/10/2018 11:31 | Tbh FTC was a buy when there was bull momentum in the market. That is why I got in. However it was always in a downward trend on the weekly charts. It was never able to get even a 20 week cross over the 200 week ema. Don't think I'd want it now unless it broke that 200week ema which seems unlikely in this market. | volsung
25/10/2018 11:17 | Ramped and chased up, now reality has come home to roost. As said earlier, I saw nought in that TU that encouraged me to buy. | owenski
25/10/2018 10:48 | Does anyone know why it flew up ? I've been following but not closely. | yump
25/10/2018 10:43 | thanks… I did wonder :-) | shrout
25/10/2018 10:26 | Shrout - the reply was to chestnuts - I have edited the post to make it clear. I am hoping for 5g take off within the next year. I was also hoping for a more positive statement re: 5g take up from Nokia this morning but c'est la vie. I wasn't trading on the outcome of today's update - what I have I intend to hold for 12 months at least. | allstar4eva
25/10/2018 10:19 | "Whilst we continue to enjoy good baseload volumes from our long term defence contracts, the uncertainties regarding the timing of the market take-up for mMIMO and the rate of tail-off of our legacy filter sales make near term forecasting very difficult. However, we are confident that our position overall continues to strengthen and our outlook remains positive." Doesn't look sinister to me. This is not a company going bankrupt any time soon. Maybe this was a speeding ticket, as they say on the TERN board. Talk of 50+p on the Fibonacci proved to be premature. Never trusted that stuff! If it's too complicated to explain simply, then it's probably nonsensical. | brucie5
25/10/2018 10:14 | tini5, Read into the announcement as you wish, but today's price action suggests otherwise. The key words IMHO are: 'uncertainties regarding the timing of the market take-up for mMIMO and the rate of tail-off of our legacy filter sales make near term forecasting very difficult'. In the current market environment, anything that fails to deliver will be severely punished. | eagle eye
25/10/2018 10:06 | What are you agreeing with/hoping for allstar? It sounds like you're hoping for a profit warning.. not a common trait in most investors. | shrout
25/10/2018 09:51 | Buys exceeding sells but we're down 20%. Incredible. | investordave
25/10/2018 09:45 | Why brace for a profit warning if they state the position overall continues to strengthen and outlook remains positive? The two are mutually exclusive. | tini5
25/10/2018 09:15 | chestnuts25 Oct '18 - 09:59 - 2524 of 2532 0 1 0 I Think the market was expecting news like 5g is here and we are run off our feet and cant keep up with the orders for 5g products, instead we got business in line as we predicted Agreed. I think/hope it is coming though perhaps 6-12 months away Edited | allstar4eva
25/10/2018 09:13 | Re today's RNS. Short-term revenue visibility poor, so brace yourself for a profit warning: 'Whilst we continue to enjoy good baseload volumes from our long term defence contracts, the uncertainties regarding the timing of the market take-up for mMIMO and the rate of tail-off of our legacy filter sales make near term forecasting very difficult. However, we are confident that our position overall continues to strengthen and our outlook remains positive'. | eagle eye

25/10/2018 08:39 | No worries Dave - happens to us all from time to time. | kazoom
25/10/2018 08:38 | Perhaps a question for the AGM if anyone reads this. When/if will we get broker coverage again and what our management expectations which should come via house broker notes but are not! | loafofbread
25/10/2018 08:37 | Markets (PI's) expected an ahead statement however management are understandably conservative this early in the financial year. Markets are mainly short term now so ANY statement is sold however without an ahead comment + p$ss poor general market conditions there are insufficient buyers therefore we see a fall. I reduced exposure to all shares a month ago so the positions I have open are long term or until the story changes and the story has not changed here. | allstar4eva
25/10/2018 08:31 | see no news is actually good news lol | jon123
25/10/2018 08:31 | There has been a steady buyer out there for weeks now. I can't see him not taking advantage of this price. | loafofbread
25/10/2018 08:25 | Trading in line with expectations in FY 2019 and yet the share price is down 20%. I'll never understand the markets. | investordave
25/10/2018 08:17 | My mistake. Misread situation. My apologies. | investordave
25/10/2018 08:14 | "Trading so far in the first half of FY2019" that's right isn't it? Current FY ends May-2019. | kazoom
25/10/2018 08:12 | Second para first line Kaz. | investordave
25/10/2018 08:09 | Which comment are you referring to Dave? I can't see an error there. | kazoom |
