Bazworth, do you happen to know what their more recent comment ( this month, as a follow up to the September recommendation ) said ?

Go to the SCSW website and download a free preview. You will see the September issue with FTC on the front page.

Cheers

Re-read that SCSW report this evening and it sums up our situation incredibly well. I’m holding tight for quite a while yet!

Cheers!

Comments made by Rob Smith to SCSW might suggest otherwise bookbroker.

But it might be a good AGM question for anyone attending to get a feel for how much scope they have to ramp up production to meet any substantial demand that may come along.

Forget hundreds of thousands of masts, that takes a very substantial supply chain, this company does not have that facility.

As long as markets don't continue to tank I expect traders to be back ahead of the AGM in a couple of weeks

We just need news and broker coverage. If FTC are the go-to for hundreds of thousands of 5G masts, then the share price will look after itself.

Expect this to fall, having bought in higher irritating, but the rise reflects the advent of 5G, you are seeing some traction so somewhat sentiment driven, but this company has a very viable product, net cash and the potential for more contracts will put a floor under this.

thanks kazoom, you read the release far more carefully than I did!

I’m intrigued by the morning share price increases then falls in the afternoons!

We need a little more news from FTC to keep this ball rolling up the hill, perhaps an upbeat trading report will come our way a fortnight tomorrow?! Or a few more contracts will do the trick.....!

I think in fact they sold 1.3m (the 900k was just actual shares, but they also sold c. 400k of "instruments" presumably CFDs or SpreadBets - probably spreadbets from their original holding RNS see below)

Including the instruments they still hold c. 13.6m

Just a quick search on Investegate (keyword : Newlands) I think they first bought in November 2015 (when the price was around 6p) and topped up along the way - so they've done alright and perhaps a little bit of profit taking can be understood!

That investegate search throws up a whole load of holding announcements for a variety of companies, so whilst I hadn't come across them before, I think they are "just" high net worth Private Investors, although David seems to have been on the boards of several companies.

I don't get the sense that they are industry insiders or anything like that. Bigger pockets clearly, but just playing the same game as the rest of us imho.

I may be wrong but it looks as though the Newllands have sold circa 900,000 shares but still hold 10.75m. Winder how much profit they have made?

Cheers

I see from today’s RNS the Newlands have sold a few. Great timing on their part!

Famous last words on the spreadbets, but I stand by my thesis that this share should on average perform much better than some with market caps in the billions and extreme multiples. US tech growth in particular.

Added today, and in the case of spreadbets added back. Less annoying for me Beeks as this level will still be my highest price paid, and I did for once cash in some spreadbets now re-entered, and in profit already despite the spread. Suggests I'm not the only one looking at this area as a decent place to buy more. I think this is quite different from some other momentum names that got knocked down in the past week. Firstly the market cap here is small, secondly the recent move is months old, not years, thirdly the secular trend of 5G build out is just starting, not a few years in, and finally data is a consumer staple with our customers having strong ongoing cash flow.
