Italy just settled 5.55b Euros for 5G licences. Vodafone bought 2.4b euros of spectrum in the 3.7GHz band and 26GHz band

By my chart that’s dropped back to the rising trend line, added another £200 a point spread bet at 26. Very happy.

None at all. For a start it must already be in the price. Secondly their quanta is a function of where the price went down to, and in any case it isn't at a startling level. As you said earlier price goes up price goes down because that's what share prices do.

Indeed hpcg - there is a c. 6% pent up dilution there (but with some small cash inflow) - that's not an unusually high number imho.

There are performance targets attached to some of them, which from a quick read will easily be met currently.

But there's nothing there to scare the horses surely?

2018 report notes to accounts 30, page 61/62. There are about 6 million at 5.2p representing about 3% of the existing 207 million shares. Then another 7 million in the management at plan at 6.6p. Exercise and expiry dates are all there, so plenty more to come. If the market is surprised or not discounting these options then it hasn't done its homework.

Yes issue of shares for employee share options like this are commonplace and mciw has the figure correct.

We have be diluted by 0.05%.

BOO HOO - I have had to slash my price target of £100 / share (JUST KIDDING!) down to £99.95.

I think we can say that today's 4.5% was not related to this issue of shares.

My thoughts :

1. Profit Taking / Nothing goes up in a straight line
2. Bouncing off historical resistance.
3. Some SCSW punters selling out to buy into this months new tip.

Nothing to get excited about imho.

I know its an employee incentive

Put it this way whispers could have started that a placing is coming and people sold because of the rumour and now they see thats its an employee incentive, the price should recover.

Not really a placing. Standard employee incentives, most companies have these

What are you talking about? That isn't a placing - try reading the words. Or for that matter do some basic arithmetic.

“if you were to assume Massive MIMO had to be applied to T-Mobile’s 110,000 masts, in theory it would be several $100 millions of business for Filtronic.”

Sprint, Nokia Pioneering 5G Tech Using Massive MIMO Antennas

In short: Sprint and Nokia’s 5G partnership is continuing with a new experiment based on Massive MIMO antennas – the first 5G New Radio connection relying on the thereof in the United States. The companies will be demonstrating the solution at the latest edition of Mobile World Congress Americas which is scheduled to start in Los Angeles tomorrow and will run until Friday. Both believe the technology in question will play an integral role in Sprint’s 5G deployment efforts planned to begin next year.
