01/10/2018 08:34 | I had a little top up this morning. I've been watching very closely and MMs are playing this very tight. | mad foetus
01/10/2018 08:17 | Fascinating at Uni yesterday - a hell of a lot of excitement over 5g and it's likely impact on the world in regards to IOT, driverless cars, health monitoring.... | beeks of arabia
30/9/2018 08:03 | FTC are also recruiting heavily at the moment, judging by their social media pages. Always a good sign. | beeks of arabia
30/9/2018 07:51 | Presumably we will get a trading update on the day of the AGM. This will give them chance to refer to current market expectations, which i really think have now been left behind by events. You are posting early this morning, wisecat, or are you just going to bed after a late night on the prowl, like the tomcat that you are ! | mesquida
30/9/2018 05:30 | Wise words Mesquida, agree with all that. What becomes very interesting is when we have further newsflow. | wisecat2
29/9/2018 18:34 | Beeks If you have DMA you can buy off the bid you in effect become the MM, and if any one is selling off the offer you buy them as well. | chestnuts
29/9/2018 18:20 | I am not convinced that we have as yet seen any serious institutional buying of Filtonic. The house broker has been relatively inactive in the stock ( although I accept that an institutional buyer is not limited to routing his business through the house broker ), and there have been very few broker notes published. If i am right, then we have the benefit of increased institutional interest still to come, although I suspect that we will need a change of house broker to get the ball rolling. Increasingly I find myself thinking that a three digit share price target ( market cap £200 million ) over say a 3 year period, might not be such wishful thinking. | mesquida
29/9/2018 17:25 | Fair enough chestnuts, respect your point of view.My point is simply that this has moved from being stock where the buyers were pretty much exclusively private investors to one where the key buying force is now institutional. Seen it before as micro caps turn into small caps and pass 50 million market cap. Yes PIs can still have very short-term impacts on price but trend is driven by the block buyers. This is why I used the word drive rather than affect in my post. | photon
29/9/2018 16:43 | How do you buy off the bid AND the offer? | beeks of arabia
29/9/2018 16:08 | Photon I have to disagree about PI trading wont effect sp, if there is an Institution buying and it looks like there is as they were buying off the bid and offer, IF no one sells they will have to bid higher and higher to collect shares . | chestnuts
29/9/2018 14:10 | Aberforth block has been sold on.New institutional buying around and above 50m market cap.Entering high growth phase, right product, right markets, right time.Could they report a 5m profit or more in 2019? Very possibly.Forward PE of 20 would give market cap of 100m, roughly 50p a share.Growth story would not end there.PI trading will not drive the price from here. | photon

29/9/2018 10:48 | Current M,cap is 57m Question is whether people think that's excessive. But, FTC is currently profitable, on top of that the statement from the company regarding MIMO is that it's pretty much a key element of 5G - and 5G is being rolled out now, plus it's also an important element in current 4G densification infrastructure. FTC are also winning important contracts in military apps now. So pricing for future prospects, is 57m really an eye watering valuation? | owenski
29/9/2018 08:23 | though I'm thinking that current exuberance owes quite a lot to the expectation of sales which have yet to materialise, and the 5g revolution which is in process of materialising. The markets look forwards, not backwards. All companies are valued on the expectation of profits, whether from tangible assets, ip leverage or other means. Being that FTC have existing relationships with major vendors in the sector, have the IP leverage and products to help drive the 5G revolution and are at a lowly valuation, can you think of a better company with which to make substantial profits from stock appreciation? I certainly cannot, and still see many multiples from here. I continue to hold and will until the story unfolds fully. I expect a 3 figure share price by then or for FTC to be taken out. | beeks of arabia
29/9/2018 00:03 | I agree Brucie5 on fundamentals it's not hard to argue that the price has got "ahead of itself" based on what we know as fact. But given the "size of the prize", the surety that FTC will get at least part of that prize and the bits and various 'clues' that it won't be a tiny part - I think there is some way to go yet. Worth keeping very much alert for any disappointing news that could stop the run, but on "balance of probabilities" from what we know so far I don't think a three figure share price is unrealistic (but equally, it is far from 'nailed on'). It's hard to be definitive, but imho the "risk is to the upside" as they say. | kazoom
28/9/2018 20:59 | yes 60p is a nice target | opodio
28/9/2018 20:50 | I have no idea where this going on basis of fundamentals, though I'm thinking that current exuberance owes quite a lot to the expectation of sales which have yet to materialise, and the 5g revolution which is in process of materialising. That said, the 5 year chart is a wonder to behold: suggesting some resistance at 30p as a threshold area, and then gaps to 40, 50 & 60p. NAI, but many will be picking it up on basis of momentum, which can turn quickly, once lost. | brucie5
28/9/2018 16:28 | FST also storming ahead | pietradura
28/9/2018 16:27 | 2 min to get more, nice 100k buy | pietradura
28/9/2018 16:04 | Should get snippet in mail I think | opodio
28/9/2018 15:40 | Super rise with associated volume too :-) | owenski
28/9/2018 14:15 | I completely missed the fact that they published the report and accounts on Wednesday - I wonder if this might also have some bearing on the interest over the last few days? Obviously we already knew the results, but they do a more detailed narrative in the Report & Accounts. Worth a read anyway | kazoom
28/9/2018 14:01 | Really interested in the Newlands stake here. They have just bought 5% of Totally TLY and cleared out an overhang. Seems they buy into and wait. Buying large stakes in nano caps and looking for multibaggers. You gotta be patient though! | deltrotter |
