not sure you have battlebus2.

Can still see this company being taken out by one of the big boys. Even if it isn't there is huge growth prospects. I know things have changed, but just look at the historic market pricing of this company. market still valuing this at little more than the basket case it was a few years ago. Things have changed since then.

I generally don't get to concerned with mega ramping or bashing (unless someone's being a particular tool) - I have my formula and stick to it - otherwise you get drawn in to silly shouting matches when really you should be focusing elsewhere on high quality trades.

o/t but IOF was a ramptastic gamble floated here for some reason and I suspect pumped by a concerted group, certainly at the start with a vast amount of 'data' and 'research' and theoretical potential. Its in my list with MONI, PDX and a load of other in-it-to-win-it mantra stocks that have come to nothing.

FLX wasn't and isn't, as far as I can see.

SCSW - I feel a most significant aspect to the wider audience for Filtronic and its future sp, is that SCSW initiated coverage of FTC exactly one year ago.... early May 2016, with a full page article. There was a short "Keep on buy list" in June 2016 and also further comment since then.

This past week's Update has been much awaited and I would imagine FTC will be well covered in the June edition of SCSW and I'm looking forward to reading their comment.

Also, FTC's year end is 31/5 and the update mentions...."A more detailed update on FY2017 trading will be provided following the end of the Company's financial year."

Should be a very interesting few months ahead...

Hi Mesquida, yes IOF is such hard work - the confluent elements for a rocket take off are high quality chart btm b/o - tiny free float - strong obv rise - decent news catalyst - measured bag traders target. IOF has many of the elements but not the news catalyst - so it struggles.

"Smaller stock always suffer from volatility"

If an asset falls through a zone in an aggressive or disorderly way ie not natural swing - the mkt wants to repair (retrace up) to that level later in an orderly fashion once the conditions allow. The chart & news would indicate we are entering that repair phase now.

Online now you can only buy a maximum 7k shares at 13p. Whilst you can sell lots at 12.84p - almost the mid-price. Looking good.

Filtronic (FTC) getting interesting - if it can get past the 23% line could be into a lovely range reversion to mean chart - 50% level i would have thought - 100% if hot news keeps rolling - weekly chart so not fast - but news & chart both confirm
