Thanks GlenGC
I realise that I have posted this before but I'm hoping to see the payload announcement at sometime fairly soon!!

Deleted, silly question.....!!

Eagerly awaiting the major update they've promised us. Hope they don't take too long about it as I suspect the recent price rises have been in anticipation of this. |
Looks like 80p is being a little troublesome!!
Onwards & upwards

Elon Musk
@elonmusk · 23h SpaceX is doing a major launch every ~3 days now.
Next year, a launch every ~2 days.
We will probably deliver close to 90% of payload mass to Earth orbit and beyond this year.
Great work by a great team! |
bigbigdave,
Is a breakout the same as a whoooosh?
If so, that would be magic!!
Cheers |
Think we might get a breakout next week going on the recent chart action. |
Price quivering upwards |
Wonder when the next 'whooooosh' will come along?
Extremely happy to hold
Cheers |
The shares were very well bid at the close Market makers playing games in august |

Their Hercules 2 product is used in low latency networks used for example in high frequency trading. |
And our known high value contracts and close relationships with many of the worlds biggest defence contractors. As I've said, we will never know precisely what work we are doing in the defence area. But it is clear the trend is towards lower cost, higher tech, fast moving, high data usage equipment rather than huge, expensive bits of kit. That creates opportunities for FTC |
So you are hypothecating FTC's undoubted skills in high speed data transmission to any applications with high speed data transmission which can be done by many more companies large and small. OK. |
I've no idea if FTC. chips have a role here, but to be able to down a helicopter with a drone will need a lot of ultrafast data between drone and operator. Very different to using drones for deliveries where the data required is much smallerhttps://www.newsweek.com/ukraine-drone-russian-helicopter-1936991 |
Hi Foetus, interesting last comment there, got any links you can point me to? |
Musk has generally not been someone who takes that approach. He seems to prefer an open system where IP is available to everyone knowing that development happens everywhere all the time and his edge is not technological but his ability to make decisions quickly and control the public narrative. The only reason he would take over FTC is to stop any direct competitor from doing so and stopping supplying SpaceX. The strategic stake gives him some leverage in that regard. In the news, Ukraine has used drones to down Russian helicopters. That requires a huge amount of high speed secure data transmission. I doubt we will ever know if FTC are involved in that kit but it's quite possible. This company is making the picks and shovels for a new world of big, localised data that few have woken up to. |
Buying the company would be an easier way of ensuring no other competitor gets access ? |
"FTC are also very dependent on Musk. Now, if I were Musk and hell bent on world domination somewhere in my contract or share option with FTC I might have a clause that says “….and you only do work of this nature with me and no other competitor.”
I think that SpaceX need FTC too and struggle to imagine FTC bending quite that far over.....!
I also believe that if exclusivity was / is the case then the RNS would have mentioned it - clearly it would be extremely price sensitive!
Time will tell...!!

That twitter post has 120 views. Amazing how few follow this company |
