I notice that "nakedinvestor" was "new" to advfn today when he made his virgin post.

Perhaps so the big fella, fully accept the bull case - my holding is not huge here and my current loss £300 so will keep holding to try and get parity and then leave No offence to you, and good luck if you do try and build up your holding again

Ultimate - I do not understand given your endless negative posts why you continue to be a holder. Surely your feelings are such that you should crystallise your loss and move on.

Odd that in the last full financial year before float the company made 3 million ebitda, even before this ebitda was all over the place - it doesn't appear to have shown any growth in lead up to float, a very strange valuation

Yes I've read the admission document.

hxxp://www.filmfinances.com/ffi-media/uploads/2017/06/Final-Admission-Document-FFI-HOLDINGS-PLC.pdf

The company issued 21.0m shares for cash, placed 18.4m of the shares of existing shareholders and 117.7m of existing shares were retained by shareholders.

Cheers

For you stemis - has a lot of financialInfo on which the float valuation was based - it would seem half the placing funds went to existing investors half to company

How this floated for nearly 200 million is ridiculous bordering on stupid

Actually it was £236m (at 150p). I tend to agree though. I'd love to see what the basis was for this. However I didn't buy at 150p but at marginally higher than the current price so it's pretty academic.

Read the reasons stated by the company. It's just deferral of a little bit of the imax stuff..

If you work to a narrative you'll find anything that suits the point you are trying to make..the assumption is not a fact..it's just an assumption Read this slowly...Completion Contracts: Volume grew by 2% (77 titles in H1 2018 as compared to 74 titles in H1 2017). The Group maintained its average fee of production budgets. During H1 2019, fewer large budget productions resulted in the average budget per new order decreasing by 14% to $11.2 million in the period (H1 2018: $12.9m), which resulted in lower revenue despite providing more completion contracts in the period. The Group's pipeline shows more larger budget titles likely in H2 2019.

But the opinion then that the market where they draw this year an estimated 78% of of year start forecast revenues is shrinking is not a positive - in fact it's a major negativeHow this floated for nearly 200 million is ridiculous bordering on stupid

I don't think he's surmised that having spoken to the company - the company's view is quite opposite - that's he view based on what he thinks is going on in the market.

But nakedinvestor has spoken to the business and summised the main market where they draw revenue is potentially shrinking - completion contracts - they have no options to buy other firms with the low share price - a mbo would potentially put the risk of a shrinking business with management A lot of things to think about here stemis

To be fair stemis buywell called this one correctly - I reckon about 15 mill ebita based on the assumption there main market is shrinking

Buywell,

I've already addressed the increase in liabilities before.

I think we've all spotted that they aren't going to make $22-20m EBIT.
