04/1/2019 10:57 | What rise ?If you were such a bull surely you'd buy at 23p ? | ultimatewarrior
04/1/2019 10:51 | Great spread 23.35-23.6p | dave4545
04/1/2019 10:50 | You are turning into the bitter ex holder seeking validation in their decision to sell by pointing out every fall whilst trying to explain away every rise... | stemis
04/1/2019 10:39 | Lol down it goes still | ultimatewarrior
04/1/2019 08:59 | 23.6p offer All time low offer atm | dave4545
02/1/2019 23:04 | Quote from Shares Mag this week "A blockbuster year for the cinema industry would suggest that competition from streaming services like Netflix and pressure on consumer spending haven’t negatively impacted the silver screen. An article in The Guardian suggests that British cinemagoers will have been to the movies 176m times this year, a number not seen since 1971. Stockbroker Numis says year-to-date the US box office has increased by 10% and the UK box office was broadly flat, showing the resilience of cinema as a leisure activity. A more diverse range of films and the rise of boutique theatres is credited with keeping cinema buoyant in 2018. For example, the biopic of the band Queen, called Bohemian Rhapsody, has taken more than £43m at the UK box office. Other popular films this year include the latest instalments in the Avengers, Mamma Mia, Incredibles and Jurassic World franchises, as well as family-friendly hits Peter Rabbit and The Greatest Showman." Decent macro background for FFI | stemis
02/1/2019 16:11 | 79k bought but still 24.5p to buy | dave4545
02/1/2019 14:52 | I've added a couple of % points to my holding as well. Went back over my investment case over the last week and concluded that I am comfortable at this valuation to increase exposure | pireric
28/12/2018 20:12 | See you on Monday | ih_419259
28/12/2018 20:10 | Yes you are right tall prawn - I'll take my losses now like a man. Adieu | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 18:52 | Stop making it up UW... That's complete rubbish and you know it is - Pure speculation at the very best. Move on if you've sold and take your loss like a man rather than looking like a fool. | tallprawn
28/12/2018 17:27 | Both pieric and nakedinvestor believe an mbo is a possibility and have spoken with insiders in the midst of their research | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 17:20 | How is the company profile enhanced by any potential customer typing the name film finances inc into google and hit with numerous articles regarding the company's woes over the last 18 monthsIf the company was private again they wouldn't have this business risk | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 17:16 | The company cannot guarantee they will always retain an aim listing - that's in the listing documentation stemis They have achieved the objectives - low ball mbo - relist in 3-5 years when people have forgotten about this debacle - easyAt a push I'd say it's a 60%-70% certainty. It's aim - expect the ridiculous stemis | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 16:58 | The reason for the IPO was to raise funds 1. to acquire ancillary businesses 2. to set up a captive insurance company 3. to fund strategic content acquisition and to further enhance the Group's public profile The comment about 'disappointing price action' was "Separately, the Board is clearly disappointed by the Company's poor share price performance since IPO and is committed exploring the options to address this issue.". I don't see how this implies an MBO. | stemis
28/12/2018 15:51 | But stemis the three profit warnings and a threat of a low ball mbo are the big issues here, an Mbo which would cost the two main holders circa 9 million - no problem really. I think many people would be better holding off ffi until the 'disappointing share price action' the bod spoke of has taken placeFurther you know having read the listing docs the reason for the original ipo was to sell the company | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 15:34 | I don't see how trying to persuade people to sell is a learning experience... There's nothing we know today that we didn't know 9 days ago. Some PIs came here looking for a quick turn, probably on spread bet margin. It hasn't happened and PIs do what they often do when the share price starts to fall...panic, which causes the price to fall, which triggers stops, which causes the price to fall. | stemis
28/12/2018 14:57 | I shall continue to hold and have doubled up, now averaged at 26.8p which cant be bad after 3 profit warnings. Better H2 outlook, new aquis working well, cash on bs, not a large position and happy to hold. | fozzie
28/12/2018 14:14 | Tbf glass half fulls tweeted warning on this a few months ago appears very prophetic now | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 14:07 | It's a learning experience stemis - I want to avoid the same mistakes againWhilst holding here there have been numerous red flags - the cfo not being on the board for one | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 14:04 | Why do you care what other people do? Are you seeking validation for your decision to sell? | stemis
28/12/2018 13:56 | Er...price is determined by sellers and buyers | stemis
28/12/2018 13:51 | Price is driven down by three profit warningsTHREENot pis | ultimatewarrior
28/12/2018 13:41 | Price is driven by PIs. Fear plus stops being triggered makes it volatile. | stemis |
