06/12/2017 14:16 | Yes but equally a no-brainer which is the lower risk long term hold...coca cola has one of the best known brands across the world. | buoycat
06/12/2017 13:31 | Coca cola P/e of 30 with shrinking sales or Fever tree at 40 with Booming sales? It's an easy one this time. | orissander
06/12/2017 13:22 | Decent results and the forward pe for next year in the 40s at the current price? | buoycat
06/12/2017 13:19 | The news happened with the trading update. On a pe of 80 these are on a downward trend until the next results in my view. | buoycat
06/12/2017 12:40 | Marked down, rather than sold down imho. Less than 300k traded with buys and sells equal(perhaps no surprise....) Other news on the way? | wetdream
06/12/2017 12:03 | If the market didn't like the appointment of Gibb, then why didn't it drop 5% yesterday given the RNS came out yesterday? This drop has nothing to do with that news. | villarich
06/12/2017 11:42 | Who is selling do not like that Fevertree expands in NA. Really Weird. I think it's a selling move to catch stop losses then buy all the way up. | orissander
06/12/2017 10:04 | Perhaps not the 'star' appointment the market was hoping for? Who knows? Just emphasises to me how much work needs to be done on the ground to gain a secure foothold in the US. While setting up your own operation is probably the right long term move, it's gonna take $$$s and time. Looks like that's putting the brake on the share price for the moment. Although sod-all volume. | wetdream
06/12/2017 09:34 | Market didn't like yesterday's news then!! | ddubzy
06/12/2017 09:23 | Hmm it's on the move... but! | juzzer100
06/12/2017 07:14 | Yep, let’s hope Charles can improve on Bob’s work without too much disruption... and get the languishing share price on the move again. | sogoesit
05/12/2017 14:22 | Following todays RNS, on the North America Update, the view from Investec Securities’ Nicola Mallard: ‘There are no implications for our forecasts, but this displays the greater focus management will be putting on the US in future,’ writes Investec Securities’ Nicola Mallard, a buyer whose £23.30 price target implies some 19% upside. For the current calendar year, Mallard forecasts a surge in taxable profits to £54.5m (2016: £35m), ahead of £55.9m and 60.4m in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Incidentally, a spokesperson for Fever-Tree, told just-drinks "that the new North America office will be based in New York." | martywidget
05/12/2017 14:08 | Really good news! And i would say finally serious about NA expansion. | orissander
05/12/2017 11:06 | 5 December 2017 Fevertree Drinks plc ("Fever-Tree") North America Update Fever-Tree, the world's leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers, is pleased to announce the establishment of a North American office and the appointment of Charles Gibb as the Group's North American CEO. Since Fever-Tree first entered the North American market 10 years ago, its pioneering approach to taste and quality of ingredients has seen the Group become the number one premium mixer brand in the US. Today's announcement is the next step forward, signalling Fever-Tree's commitment to and focus on the North American market. The US premium mixer sector continues to represent a significant opportunity for the Group given the existence of the same trends of premiumisation, authenticity and mixability that have been driving the success of Fever-Tree globally. As part of this transition and reflecting the Group's increased ambition in the US, Fever-Tree has given notice to Brands of Britain ("BoB"), its US agent. The Group will continue to work closely with BoB over the next six months with formal handover to be completed during the second quarter of 2018 after which time Fever-Tree will directly manage the current distribution network. Charles Gibb joined Fever-Tree as Global Strategy Director in August 2017 and in his newly created role, will lead the Group's operations across North America. Charles is a highly experienced, international executive with an exceptional track record gained over 25 years of operating at senior executive levels at Moët Hennessy, Diageo and Bacardi across a broad range of global markets. For the past nine years, Charles served as President and CEO of Belvedere Vodka, a division of the LVMH Group where he was responsible for the Brand's substantial global expansion. Tim Warrillow, CEO of Fever-Tree, comments ; "Firstly I would very much like to thank Brands of Britain for their hard work and contribution to Fever-Tree's success in the US. We have enjoyed working with their team over this period and wish them well for the future. "The North American premium mixer market is still at a relatively early stage but the trend towards spirits premiumisation and the increasing focus on simple long drink mixability is accelerating and represents a significant opportunity for Fever-Tree, as the pioneer of the premium mixers segment. "I am delighted that Charles Gibb has agreed to lead our operations in the region. He brings substantial international experience, a broad range of strategic and commercial skills as well as a proven track record of growing brands to significant scale. I look forward to working closely with him as we build the team and infrastructure in North America. " | robholdsworth
05/12/2017 07:32 | a timely US update. Perhaps they read these boards! Does make you realise that the US is a whole magnitude greater a will require a proper organisation, not a 'seat of the pants' job as perhaps before. | wetdream
30/11/2017 12:35 | I bought more on this dip. Poor people that needs to sell now, they will regret forever. | orissander
