I presume that you are not aware of the Inheritance Tax breaks that being on AIM brings. There is no way that Rolls and Warrilow would contemplate moving to the main market while holding the number of shares that they have. Indeed, there are a number of large AIM stocks that would probably fall sharply if they announced they were moving to the main market due to the amount of AIM IHT money invested eg Nichols and James Halstead to name two.
Also, there are very, very few institutions these days that have policies preventing them from investing in AIM.

Next milestone for Fevertree possible entry to the main market and lifted to the ftse350.

That is if the directors deem it will be more profitable for the company but that's
how some of the most succesful companies started.

Fever-Tree is now sold in over 50 countries and is market capitalization is over £1 billion.

The share price should be around £27 with the growth that is developping.

christh, seen your posts over on the other board. I know you like to rave about funds buying, many bought long ago anyway and with the obvious more recent months/year 'institutional demand'

Anyway, I'd rather you'd say something more constructive such as - I'm waiting for 2226p short term and about £53 longer term!

Frankly, either way I'm not bothered!

Anyway, this may be of interest if not seen them - anyway, there's lot out there to read and frankly this is all quite mundane and monotonous really:

...He says: ‘Fever-Tree is now valued at £2.5billion. We’ve been invested from the start. In late 2014, when the shares were listed, they were trading at 165p. They are now at nearly 2,500p.

‘We have taken profits on the way but it remains a top 20 holding and we see further potential as profit forecasts continue to be upgraded.

As ethical UK equity funds outperform their conventional peers in 2017, FE Trustnet considers some of the best performers of the year so far.

Standard Life Investments UK Ethical

The best performer year-to-date is the £278.8m Standard Life Investments UK Ethical fund, which has returned 19.74 per cent....

...The biggest holding for the fund is soft drinks manufacturer Fever-Tree, which represents 4 per cent of the portfolio...

..Nimmo highlighted premium drink mixer producer Fever-Tree Drinks (FEVR) amongst the standout performers over this period..

The £324 million Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust outperformed its benchmark index in its latest financial year, with a total return on net asset value of 35 per cent, writes Ian McConnell.

Great Buying opportunity at this price.

Expect to rise to £30 by Xmas with all the festivities and the spending spree as Fevertree Drinks are favorite in drinking at the parties.

The institutions will love this price as they are buying big time.

Waiting to hear about the China expansion which will be a milestone in revenue.

It will recover this afternoon so this is Buying time.

O/T I'm sure most here would have noticed (in your regular scans of movers of the beverages groups, etc) if look this one - Stock Spirits Group (STCK) thread, now that is a reasonable rise in the past month I've been watching that one thanks to the poster '3rd eye' flagged that up on the FAR9 thread (that I like to glance at for an occasional chuckle).

Demand for Fevertree still bubbling
------------------------------------------
Fevertree Drinks (FEVR) says customers still want to buy its premium mixers, and it appears that institutional investors can’t get enough of its shares. Co-founder and chief executive Tim Warrillow sold 1.5m shares at 1,925p each last week, banking £29m, while non-executive chairman Bill Ronald offloaded 50,000 shares at 2,083p each as well.
A Fevertree spokesperson said the sales were done to increase liquidity and meet heightened demand from institutional investors following recent results.

It will get back to £25 today, watch out.

It was a good summer for Fevertree so will expect the results to be miles ahead of expectations.

The expansion to mainland China will be the catalyst to becoming one of the top exporters of the world and top earner for Fevertree.
The production has doubled which means the demand has increased and therefore the
revenue will be 4 times the earnings of 2016.

Keep Buying.

Posh lemonade taste test: which supermarket fizz is the biz?
Friday 1 September 2017
Lemonade has come a long way since R White’s, with the sugary drink undergoing a radical ‘premiumisation’ in recent years. But which store’s is the pick of the bunch?

...Invigorated by a new foodie culture and encouraged by declining alcohol sales – according to the latest ONS figures, 27% of 16-to-24 year-olds do not drink – the last decade has seen a wholesale “premiumisation” of soft drinks. Manufacturers are digging out traditional recipes and reverting to real ingredients in order to appeal to more sophisticated adult palates...

Not disputing the excellence of fever tree . Indeed I was served a g & t in an up market brasserie and was horrified when they handed me Schweppes tonic water . Even easy jet give you fevertree! I was simply posing a general question about other companies with high P/E ratios . I'm perfectly aware of forward growth and ratings. Indeed i' m often surprised when the market does not factor in growth .

FEVER-TREE HAS DRIVEN 99% OF THE VALUE GROWTH IN THE ENTIRE UK MIXER CATEGORY WITHIN RETAIL IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS AND NOW HOLDS A 30% VALUE SHARE

A 30% value share of the entire UK mixer category is impressive

Can Fevertree maintain exponential growth with or even without exposure to margin competition?

Actually the PE is 69 and they are well ahead of forecasts so the PE is probably under 50. If you were to value them on a PEG basis 100%+ growth and a PE of 50 would mean a PEG of 0.5 - a steal. And the 2018 PE is possibly even much lower.

Just out of interest what other other companies are on a p/e of over 100'

If you think FEVR is on a P/E of over 100 then, with all due respect to you, you haven't a clue what you are on about.
Share prices reflect the future - if investors believe that the 'official' consensus number for earnings is too low then the shares revalue to the 'whisper' number which is much more variable.
When the actual announced figures exceed even the 'whisper' number the shares rise.
So if you believe that the 'whisper number' will keep rising as I do then the shares are still cheap.
