12/11/2024 09:22 | Think it is silly to believe that Trump will end the war in one day but you can see there is significant steps towards peace | findingways100
11/11/2024 16:37 | It is illegal for Trump to talk to Putin before he is sworn in. I think that might have a lot to do with the phone conversation not happening. | pogue

11/11/2024 09:32 | I have just heard the Trump proposals for peace as discussed with Putin on the phone. Short answer, no chance. A DMZ on Ukraine soil, ok that fine but Tump wants UK and European troops on it. So NATO effectively having bases right on the Russian border. Not going to happen. Hand over of the Russian oblasts to Russia that’s good but is only reflecting reality as it is now though there is a few bits Russia still have to take. Ukraine to join NATO in 20 years. Clearly Trump does not understand why Russia started the war which was to stop Ukraine ever joining NATO and to be neutral. So a long way to go for peace I suggest. | pogue

10/11/2024 13:16 | Lithuania just had a referendum to make Russian its second official language - passed with nearly 85% saying Yes. Suddenly around Vilnius signs are also going up in Russian. For the first time Ryanair flights to Vilnius are also giving PAs in Russian. Estonia on the other hand it was the Government by themselves has taken off Russian being the countries official second language even though half their population speak Russian as their first language. Latvia - Democratic Following the will of the majority of its people. Estonia - Undemocratic - government dictatorship as NOT following the Will of its people. | loganair
10/11/2024 11:37 | If America doesn't decouple itself from parasitic Zionist control that will be it's ultimate downfall. AIPAC controls the US it invests 100 million to get Israel 100 Billion the greatest ROI on the planet | thags
10/11/2024 11:17 | Loganair sadly yes the West is run by the US however now Trump is in power I am hopeful that will end. He is all about Make America Great Again and I have always loved that idea, I wish our glorious rulers would think about doing that here, because it means to do that he is going to have to screw all those who mistakenly think they are its allies who if they have any sense will decouple from it and the new multipolar world we are rapidly moving into becomes even more multipolar. Quote from Kissinger America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests | pogue
10/11/2024 09:22 | The West says that Russia must except sovereign Ukrainian borders so why doesn’t the West say the same when it comes to Serbia and Kosovo, that Kosovo is part of Serbia? Because the West, especially the United States does what is best to maintain their world dominance and power. | loganair
09/11/2024 20:17 | In 1993 Chancellor Kohl of Germany said Europe's future is with Russia which the United States could never let happen so they got ride of Helmut Kohl from being the Chancellor. When Putin first became President of Russia he offered Europe a Single Security System from Lisbon to Vladivostock and full economic cooperation with Europe which again the United States could never let happen as it would mean a loss of power for the U.S. so therefore the United States had to Divide Europe from Russia. Putin said just the other day that this offer is still open with Europe. Since the end of WW2, basically Europe has been and still is a colony of the United States. When it comes to the Minsk agreement, the West has publicly said Russia you've been Fooled, Russia you've been Lied to, Russia you've been Deceived therefore Putin said just a couple of days ago how can Russia ever trust the West again. | loganair
09/11/2024 18:01 | Ukraine would be very wise to start peace negotiations before Trump enters the White House. Things could go very hard for Ukraine in 2025 if Trump concludes that he will have to cut down on munitions and financial gifts in order to bring Z to his senses. If he thinks that the UK and Europe are going to increase their gifts to make up any reduction from the USA he is going to be disappointed. Uk influence in Washington will be nil. Trump is a negotiator, and will be privately delighted that the lump of lard is Foreign Sec, and Labour sent its activists to campaign for Harris. Any time the UK fails to give unqualified support for his line, he just needs to let it be known quietly that that 'the President is very disappointed that Starmer and the lump of lard are allowing their antipathy toward him to stand in the way of support for the US peace initiative' and they will rush to get behind his policy line to show that they want to work with him and have no personal antipathy toward him. He will play them like a fiddle, all charm and friendliness, everything they have said about him in the past forgotten and forgiven when they are behaving themselves, feigned outrage at. their 'false' assertions that they hold no personal feelings against him and want to work with him whenever they fail to back him 100%. They will then have to get back in line to 'prove' that they now really love, or at least trust and respect, him! | 1knocker

09/11/2024 12:25 | I think the share price is a bit high on optimism even the BBC, who most of you take as the bible, are pointing to Russian quotes that say the chances of an early end are optimistic. Whilst Russia is winning massively in the ground war I suggest the price of peace will be too high for Trump to swallow without looking like total capitulation. 'We have also heard from the Russian government on how Trump's win could impact the war in Ukraine, with Russia's news agency Interfax reporting that the country's deputy foreign minister, Sergei Ryabkov, has said Moscow and Washington are "exchanging signals on Ukraine" through closed channels. He said that preparations hadn't started for a phone call between President Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump, but that Russia was open to hearing Trump's proposals on resolving the crisis in Ukraine. However Ryabkov also remarked that many of Trump's proposals seemed to be mere election rhetoric. "I think that some of the messages… regarding a super-fast resolution of the situation in Ukraine are nothing more than… a way to attract additional attention to himself during the pre-election period."' | pogue
08/11/2024 21:56 | Don't say that gecko or you'll be accused of all sorts of Russia loving nonsense. You have to be all pro NATO anti Russia or you're not one of the brain-dead bunch | thags
08/11/2024 21:05 | What a pointless war this has been... Ukraine has paid a high price. EU / NATO shouldve just left Ukraine as it was. "Neutral" Neither IN EU/NATO, nor completely on the outside. Instead the Russian bear was poked needlessly resulting in a war , with high casualties, for no bloody reason at all. | geckotheglorious
08/11/2024 20:47 | Fingers crossed there's an end to the suffering and the war ends soon | kfr20 |
