Ukraine army is getting stronger while the Russians are loosing lots of equipment.
Ukraine army needs time to build considerably more strength before they can attack and liberate the south.
Let’s see if the Russians chicken out and give away some land
By end of year , when the leaves fall and the snow arrives, the Russian artillery will not be able to hide under the trees , himers will be active hitting them. Hopefully new air defences will effectively protect Ukraine artillery which will also be more visible

USA will 'make sure Russia complies'with Ukrainian grain export arrangements'. How, pray?

The USA is quietly enabling its own farmers (but no one else's) to buy Russian fertiliser. The USA waives rules for its own benefit, and enforces rules where those rules suit the USA by repercussions against its allies if they breach them. Russia does as it is able, and as it pleases. So far, its revenues for O and G are up (higher prices more than offsetting lower deliveries) USA gas exports are booming, and the USA is making a mint. Europe is facing power shortages, recession, and is strapped for cash.
Winners: China, USA and Russia. Losers: everyone else, especially those in the third world who will starve. BWTF, the USA is a grain exporting nation, and can sell its grain for top dollar.

Price emphasized that the U.S. and partners will hold Moscow accountable for the grain agreement reached with Ukraine as the two sides proceed with its implementation, saying “the agreement needs to endure” to aid the global food security crisis.

Grain barges on the Danube only loading to 60% capacity at present, because of low water levels. I don't know whether FXPO exports anything by that route, but if so any reopening of sea ports should be particularly welcome.

Russia and Ukraine signed United Nations-backed agreements to resume exports of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea on July 22. The agreements were put at risk by Russia's missile strike on Odesa port on July 23.
