11/4/2016 16:28 | "DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA - Last week Fastjet Tanzania, suspended flights on its route between Kilimanjaro and Nairobi writes TIMOTHY KITUNDU.The suspension of the route is as a result of low passenger demand from both the Kilimanjaro and Nairobi markets, resulting in flights not being commercially viable."its clear who is not telling the truth, the old man is not stupidcan they suspends the shares too as there is no demand for them? | paul the octopus
11/4/2016 13:34 | Easygroup's man resigned a couple of weeks ago.Burnham ( who's done to shareholders exactly what it says on his tin) was Lenigas & Winter's man. He was there when Lenigas injected the wildly overpriced assets from Lonrho Aviation into the shell, he was there when Lenigas failed to get control of Fly540 Kenya which was the only asset in the reverse which might have had some value, he was there when Winter ripped out a small fortune whilst trashing 99.5 per cent of shareholders' value and he's still there clipping fees for playing the wise monkey.Keeping him on is a hugely negative sign and shows how desperate Child is to fight Stelios. The guy who's just left is associated with the hedge fund that whacked £14m in at 100p in last year's funding and then quickly sold out at prices from 120 down to 60, and mainly nearer to the latter. Fasten your seat belts and brace, brace. | ndege kidogo
11/4/2016 11:41 | Is Robert Burnham easygroups man? | zcaprd7
06/4/2016 17:02 | I suggest we all sell and buy Metal Tiger Resources. | mbmiah
05/4/2016 15:28 | Stelios quiet. Perhaps they are getting down to a proper negotiation? | zcaprd7
30/3/2016 14:59 | Yup, it looks like the proceeds of the sale from that unwanted plane will be heading into a few barristers back pockets. And if you thought the Egyptair episode yesterday was strange, it will take a complete lunatic to hijack all of Fastjet. | ndege kidogo
30/3/2016 14:46 | RNS...... Here we go, handbags at 100 yds coming up....... What's gonna suffer??.... Shareholders an s.p.... That's who | tailgunner2
24/3/2016 17:08 | best thing chairman can do now is to resign, he got till mid-noon of 31/3 or he will be in breach of his chair licensing contract, lol | paul the octopus
24/3/2016 16:42 | Don't know what's happening with stelios, but there's a new fast jet aeroplane doing testing in the south of France as we speak.???? | westfieldpark
24/3/2016 11:44 | That jet was Big Ed's single biggest vainglorious mistake. It should be sold ASAP, end of. They've no use for it but they sure do for the cash, if only to feed those expensive City lawyers. | ndege kidogo
24/3/2016 11:18 | Depends how good the lawyers are...The legal dimension is why it's slow. It's Ok for stelios, because he's planned these attacks, but fastjet have to rely on its lawyers to fire off a measured response and try to crystal ball next moves... The very public nature means damages are a real possibility as a threat... They really should be concentrating on the sale and leaseback of that jet, that would help! | zcaprd7
24/3/2016 09:29 | I don't think there's any chance of Stelios bidding for the company. I think he wants everything that's due under the licence agreement and if he can't have that he'll cherry pick the assets from the receivers. If he actually thinks there's a viable core business all he needs is a couple of leased planes & some air & ground crew. He can leave the Gatwick HQ folly with the taxpayer to pick up the redundancy tab. | ndege kidogo
24/3/2016 09:09 | Stelios is tightening the screws, using technicalities in the contract. In the next few days, he's either going to pressure the company to recommend a lowball takeover offer to shareholders. Or pressure for a renegotiated license agreement with more favourable terms. Either way, it's bad for current shareholders. | boonkoh
24/3/2016 08:04 | Very strange relationship here between the board and shareholders. | mbmiah
24/3/2016 07:47 | That's nearly a week they have had to consult with their legal team and respond to Easygroups letter. Time you got finger out Colin, or the party's over........ | tailgunner2
23/3/2016 21:22 | Airing your dirty laundry in public is not a good sign IMO, good luck folks. | mike111d
