I think we are at an interesting point in time with this company as it has gone from being very much in the mould of Jim Mellon's vision, to having a CEO who is based in the US with perhaps a slightly different view on how the company should progress. I'm just purely speculating and I don't have a problem with that scenario at all, but I'm just mildly concerned that Lorne Abony doesn't spend much time in this country and Jim Mellon has so many other irons in the fire that perhaps FFWD isn't getting the necessary public exposure to entice new investors on board. We have agreed before that the PR/Marketing needs to step up a few gears to get the message out to a wider audience.

Will be interesting to see if you receive a reply MM. Hopefully too busy to deal with your inquiry and will prove TW wrong. As long as FFWD are honest/transparent with the accounts and things develop well here we should have nothing to worry about. Lorne at al., have to prove this now. Good that management ignore TW doodlebug4! Seems mighty sensible to me :-)

ive emailed the company pointing out what he's saying about FFWD and saying there giving false figures out on yooya, if these figures are right that FFWD and YOOYA are putting out he should been done for slander, but as yet no response back from FFWD, there is a saying theres no such thing as bad publicity but in this case i think there is, thats just my view,

That may be good for us MM. It will hopefully "encourage" the FFWD management to take the "we will show him" attitude and really shut him up one day ;-) That would be nice. Best not to take any notice of TW from what I have read/heard though.

@doodlebug4 no I think there are many motivations. Some gamers have gained cult status and are watched whild playing even by non players in cinemas and halls. While I don't understand the appeal it exists. I can see a whole Olympic style community of virtual gamers known for their skill and bringing in sponsors product placement etc to the millenials and younger a hard to reach group as they don't watch TV. Given the realism claims of leap products I would have thought outside betting they might still approach this segment.

I don't know if any of these gaming sites feature reality Formula 1, it's perhaps not much interest to gaming sites based in the US, but I would have thought the concept would have a good following in Europe.

I'm not sure why FFWD use their Twitter account to tweet news that is five days old. I don't like Twitter anyway, but I thought the whole idea was to bring breaking news and not to re-hash old news.

Well it may not be a good idea given the recent share price direction but I topped up a little today on the weakness. I can't see Lorne & team keeping FFWD under the most recent placing price for too long but I could be well off the mark. Look forward to some news of significance here soon I hope!

I'm not sure about the appeal of winning medals rather than money, ron? Isn't it the allure of money that drives gamblers and gamers? Probably one official provider as you suggest tho and I suppose the advertising spin offs will be substantial.
