DB, so the BOD appear to already have a shortlist of investee companies which they could sell for good profits in the near-term. This is far earlier than I had anticipated. If I understood that 'Market Update' correctly the list comprises these 3 investees -

1. Yooya
2. Intensity Therapeutics
3. Vemo Education

"the Company believes its investments in Biotechnology, Education Technology, and its investment in Yooya could yield significant returns in the near term. Exit opportunities on favourable terms are under review for these investments"

I wonder what they consider to be a 'favourable exit opportunity' - well in excess of 100% gains maybe? Just guessing of course .. although one would hope it's at a significant premium to our original stake otherwise our exit would surely be premature!

The message is loud and clear about the direction the BOD are taking this company in the near future. "Changes to our portfolio" - I wonder which of the current investee companies are going to be sold to the highest bidder?

Translation from Japanese article in ZUUonline;

Europe Visa has partnered with SatoshiPay, proof-of-concept of Bitcoin micropayment (small settlement) is that it has embarked on (PoC), became apparent from the coverage of a number of media.

This experiment was combined with the settlement a "IOT M2M payments" and the Internet of things, which is called M2M (machine communication between), which is part of a project to explore the new payment method.

A micro-payment system and the Visa card payment structure of SatoshiPay fused, between Visa accounts and Satoshi Wallet owned by the user, it is the purpose of establishing an automatic micro-payment.

Explore the high bit coin purchase means of safety using the card
Visa initiatives announced at the Web site to the "IOT M2M settlement" in May this year. FinTech development team, the European Visa Collab is, and is being studied the means of Bitcoin micro settlement, showed an ambitious attitude to the next generation settlement.

At the time, it referred to as "smart light bulb", had been searching for a such as the means to use the bit coin to pay for utility bills, in this experiment adopted a "micro-payment" of SatoshiPay the current beta version has been provided, bit It has focused on the small trading of coins.

Satoshi coins (100 million Satoshi coin is 1 bit coin or equivalent) will make use of the settlement. This allows, for example, it means that one cent (about 1 yen) can also following transactions.

Also through the Visa card, the Bitcoin wallet that charge also becomes possible.

Founder of SatoshiPay, Mr. Maiharuto Ben, the final goal of the PoC is to be "using a credit card or debit card, the establishment of a secure bit coin purchase means" explanation.

In partnership by the international major and startup, also one, it came into being a new revolution.

Avid Visa to the development of IOT M2M settlement
Headquartered in London, SatoshiPay in business revolves around Berlin, but micro-payment start-up, which was founded in 2014.

English block chain and venture companies Coinsilium Group (Koinshiriamu Group) and, to raise funds from such US IT companies FastForward Innovations, started the development of micro-payment platform in April 2015. It is offering a beta version from February this year.

The provision of the international giant, Visa is, as a pioneer company of micro settlement, you are sure it is a chance to become famous worldwide.

If this PoC is successful, mutual systems or with other brands of non-Visa in the future, shows the intention to incorporate as well, such as real-time bank transfer, it can be expected to be expanded frontage of further settlement revolution future.

Very to Visa, for many years established credit card, to dispel the image that the debit card company, will be a great turning point reborn in international settlement brand running the tip of the era.

Visa is also at the end of last year, the crypto-finance startup in Silicon Valley, such as the conduct and Epiphyte, the experiment of Bitcoin remittance, shows a great deal of interest in the development of IOT M2M settlement using the block chain technology.

thanks db. Based on the chart I decided to top up first thing this morning, these shares seem to me a steal at around 12p! Why would anyone sell at 11.5p, I don't get it?

Just a small uplift in share price today, I think we need some stellar investee news to get a good strong bounce from here! It will come at some point, we can be fairly certain of that..

At first, I (for one) was actually quite keen on the new 'gaming direction' the company is taking. That is, until I saw the effect the announcement(s) had on the share price

These guys are shrewd, very smart indeed. So we can be sure they have picked some prime stocks with great innovative tech potential. Surely time will tell how this turns out but I'm confident we have at least 2-3 winners tucked away in the FFWD portfolio waiting to hit the big time.. currently yooya would be my no. 1 as has been suggested by others here.

Not sure if anyone on this BB pays attention to charts at all, but I see the FFWD chart has today slipped into "Over-Sold" territory. The Relative Strength Indicator (RSI) is below 30. This *could* mean that we're due a bounce from here (has happened before and more than once when oversold) but clearly no guarantees.

One thing's for sure is that the start of some recovery would be quite welcome for those invested here. Patience is a virtue...

Good post flashheart. The share price shot up up because we were all impressed with the speed and quality of the initial investments and because of the bod expertise. The short term investors have moved on to the next hot share. Now we have to wait for the seed investments to grow and reward us. It will not happen in days or weeks but IMO the rewards will be substantial to satisfy the early investors and when it does....I'm along for the ride😀㈳2;

I think some of us have echoed the same reservations Ivor but are prepared to leave the ideas behind this to the experts. To date I believe the portfolio only comprises 2 gaming investee companies out of a stable of around 10????
Still a good mix in my opinion. The gaming industry is a massive one but, if like me, you have little interest in this area from a 'users' perspective I think that it is difficult to perhaps fathom the scale, potential and worldwide appeal that this leisure activity has. I have run this past my future son-in-law who is an avid gamer and he remarked how impressed he was with both these companies, particularly the uniqueness of their technology albeit just gleaned from their respective websites. We have all witnessed to date the addictive and cult stature that the likes of Pokémon Go has so far achieved. Should Leap Gaming as an example gain even a fraction of this popularity, with a 40% plus stake it would add up to mega bucks in the FFWD coffers. We have many exciting prospects here, not least the Yooya perspective as perhaps the most near term realisation. The big US tech companies have been paying hundreds of millions of dollars for such entities which while being small change to themselves, would equate to a massive payday here. There's also the rather juicy carrot of a possible forthcoming IPO which could equally achieve similar valuations. This is not intended as a mindless ramp but an excited realisation that we hold considerable stakes in a number of ground breaking companies managed by a man and his team who have achieved stellar valuations from seed investments time and time again. I for one am more than prepared to let the strategy take its course. The last RNS has already hinted that we may expect a raft of short term news on lots of horizons. Selling out on boredom and unusual recent inactivity is the biggest danger here!

Took a few more today, while its quiet. Investing on AIM is about patience and timing IMO. Forget the day to day movements, thin volume means the MM's can do as they please.Re gaming. Let's not forget LEAP is not a gaming pure play, it's a hybrid gambling+gaming. The company was recommended by Norbert the former CEO of BTWin, he should know a thing or two about gambling games. Let's also remember LEAP passed the DD test with the BoD, no mean feat when you consider their expertise and experience. Trust the BoD to deliver, they will come good soon enough.

The fall in the share price is getting quite alarming. It's slightly up today's low but still down 7% on the day. I suspect that some investors, like myself, feel unhappy with the move towards investing in online/computer gaming. For the reasons I have mentioned in previous posts, the gaming industry is highly speculative and I would not have invested in FFWD had I known that it was moving in that direction. I was interested in the Blockchain applications, the health and education programmes. I am dismayed that the company appears to have changed direction and I suspect others feel the same - hence the fall in the share price
Hiving off the gaming investments into another entity would restore confidence in the company.
