20/7/2016 07:45 | Good Yooya update today. Not sure it will do much to the share price in the short term but happy to be proved wrong! | lauders

19/7/2016 03:41 | I think there is just too much uncertainty in the world now and people are shy of long term investments at present. Probably trading more or buying into commodities which has taken funds elsewhere. I like FFWD but realize it is " buy and forget in the bottom draw" type of company. Perhaps more weakness or really good news will bring in the buyers but they aren't around at the moment, Personally I think the Pulseflow might surprise us! From the last update: 5. Specifically, the Company believes its investments in Biotechnology, education technology, and its investment in Yooya could yield significant returns in the near term. Exit opportunities on favourable terms are under review for these investments. | lauders
18/7/2016 17:30 | A very quiet day with less than 30000 shares traded. This is a little surprising as the last RNS was hinting strongly that good things were going to happen imminently. Perhaps everyone is just waiting for firm news. The share price has sunk back to February levels and is now well below the last placing at 15p. Its time for this to head north again so bring on the news. | 888icb
18/7/2016 13:17 | I wish I'd kept my Arm and my Autonomy but there you go!! It just shows what rewards are there for the patient. Ffwd are picking the best for us all we need to do is have faith and keep holding. IMO | moormoney

18/7/2016 08:55 | Share distribution for long term share holders would be good as we would be invested in a trading company Which comes with capital gains advantage which we don't get with FFWD | tenniselbow
15/7/2016 15:51 | Yes moormoney, the recent RNS was a good one but vague/cryptic enough to encompass a variety of scenarios. | flashheart
15/7/2016 15:50 | The Pokemon go app has added billions to Nintento's valuation in the last week! So perhaps Lorne is onto something. However I do share the concern that putting all our eggs potentially in one basket is not really what we were expecting. Personally I rather like some of the other investments and because they are early stage FFWD was the only way in. | 888icb
15/7/2016 15:23 | I agree we need to trust the board decisions and so far their investments have been good ones IMO. It could be that one of them is looking to float in which case FFWD will reap the rewards and then pursue the gaming opportunities. Those comments about the value of google and yootube appear to be giving us a hint of their expectations. Unless I'm too Rose tinted!! I'm looking forward to the news which appears to be close now! | moormoney
15/7/2016 15:05 | I would probably share your reservations db, however Lorne Abony hasn't got where he is today without knowing what he's doing. As you say wait and let proceedings take their course. I am still as confident as ever. | flashheart
15/7/2016 15:02 | One of the great attractions to me about FFWD is the interesting mix of investee companies and I'm not sure if I will find it such an attractive investment if the future emphasis is going to be concentrated in the gaming market. In the meantime I'm happy to wait for further news. | doodlebug4
15/7/2016 14:41 | I would agree with those sentiments too bdog and db. I'm not doubting the massive potential in this area or obviously the bods far superior experience/knowledge | flashheart

15/7/2016 14:36 | I agree with that db. Personally I trust the board to invest where they anticipate the highest returns for shareholders. If gaming truly is a massive growth area then it's a great sector to invest in right now. | bdog51
15/7/2016 14:20 | This news will appeal to some investors and not to others, bdog. | doodlebug4
15/7/2016 13:32 | FFWD article today in Gaming Intelligence - "FastForward plans to shift investment portfolio to iGaming" FFWD says it plans to reduce its portfolio of investments to focus on the iGaming industry. The company is already a major shareholder in virtual sports and casino games developer Leap Gaming and says that it sees “exceptional opportunities” in the gaming technology sector. “These opportunities are available to the company largely because of the network of the company’s board of directors, advisers and large shareholders,” said FastForward. “The company believes that the gaming technology sector has very positive macro-economic characteristics and represents a very significant growth opportunity.” Having recently increased its stake in Leap Gaming to more than 41 per cent, FastForward said that it expects to complete a second investment in the coming weeks. The company also confirmed that it is exploring adding further gaming expertise and experience to its board. See full article at: www.gamingintelligen | bdog51

14/7/2016 21:08 | Hi kristini. It's a shame that you feel like giving up on AIM stocks although I agree it's probably the most frustrating area of the stock market. I had done very well indeed up until about a year ago where there appears to be little progress at all. Total stagnation at best. I feel that FFWD offers the best possible reward in the medium /long term that I've researched but again we're currently experiencing an annoying plateau in the share price I'm expecting that to change now with the impending news flow. The other stock VELA I wouldn't put in the same league but is an interesting proposition with it's lowly market cap and a couple of its investments. Hope you decide to stick with it or at least have an interest in FFWD. Doodlebugs posts are the most informative here and useful with which to follow proceedings. flash. | flashheart
14/7/2016 18:44 | Flash TBH i really do not believe that anyone makes an investment decision based upon a BB comment stating that they take a view that the share price may fall a little from current levels. Maybe the odd person may be influenced but not anything that will ever influence the price, I always comment in good faith and respect any reasonable and informed opinions It could well be that we have seen the lows here but you well know that these AIM stocks can trade irrationally at times and throw up opportunities, sometime it pays to be patient but i am hoping to get in at some point. I would think that potentially today's statement is intended to support the price of course, nothing wrong with that I have just about given up with AIM stocks generally and investing here will be an exception given that following JM made me £50k with his WAFM when i sold at near the highs a while back. It now languishes at 2p and so my timing was good on that one I took some Diabetic Boot Company stock at the fund raising last year which attracted EIS status, will look at the other stock you mentioned K | kristini2
14/7/2016 17:33 | Interesting zangdook, I very much doubt he has heard of PulseFlow. Come to think if it I wonder if Jeremy Hunt is aware of the company, which is more to the point. | doodlebug4
14/7/2016 17:25 | doodle Kim Jong Un is rumoured to be diabetic too. If so he beat May by 5 years. | zangdook
14/7/2016 16:36 | There will be tax savings for the company for using the in specie method. Also, you still retain an interest in the new entity which would now have access to a wider market through an IPO and hence presumably better channels for raising additional capital and expansion. Agree with you on the issues for smaller investors with dealing costs and hassle etc although this should be outweighed by a considerable appreciation in the share price (hopefully) | mustardmark |
