29/10/2015 07:40 | have fogl got the cash to give Isobel a good drilling? | brian boru
29/10/2015 07:39 | Close escape for me, sold out a couple of weeks ago and put all in Ukog, planning to come back with profit on their HH flow test permit approval in time for Humpback result.....still waiting and still invested at Ukog, commiserations to those still here. ;-( | moneymunch
29/10/2015 07:35 | Blaikie - if you have the readies - why not get some really cheap today and lower your average for the Isobel drill? Isobel is proven oil. | agnabeya
29/10/2015 07:12 | That was a given after all this time, I think. The most they will get out of it is the geology and 3D calibration for ne t time. I won't be waiting around for that one. The sooner a takeover happens the happier I'll be. GLA for today. | agnabeya
29/10/2015 07:09 | Its a duster!15p here we come. | wulber

29/10/2015 00:43 | shanieboy01 Yes is the simple answer. Links below hxxp://www.ldeo.colu Much more data can be gleaned by sending the right tools downhole after TD is reached - should be doing that about now. | thorpematt
28/10/2015 23:44 | Duster. Bad luck guys. | eburne1960
28/10/2015 23:36 | Elsewhere, Noble Energy came up empty on its Humpback exploration well offshore the Falkland Islands. The well is now being plugged and abandoned after encountering non-commercial quantities of crude oil and natural gas.Humpback was drilled in the Fitzroy sub-basin of the Southern Area License. The company said that it will undertake a full well assessment and integrate drilling results into its geologic models to determine remaining exploration potential in the Southern Area License.Noble said that the rig that drilled Humpback will be released to another operator before returning to spud the Rhea prospect in late 2015 or early 2016. Rhea is located in the Northern Area License offshore the Falkland Islands and approximately 265mi from Humpback. Rhea is a Cretaceous-aged prospect with multiple reservoir targets and total estimated gross mean unrisked resources in excess of 250 MMbbo.Read more | agnabeya
28/10/2015 23:33 | I was expecting this after all the delay. Just read the RNS....and as I said, they kept drilling to try and prove something. Had they found oil, they would have said so...regardless of who was operator. I sold at a slight loss last week, and am off to bed now to be up early for buying back in. Humpy is dead - long live Isobel! It will be interesting tosee what Fogl have to say in the morning. | agnabeya
28/10/2015 23:23 | I told ya, you didn't listen | jimduggan
28/10/2015 23:19 | So...pretty much as expected then? So much for 'frantic Friday'. | agnabeya
28/10/2015 21:57 | Sorry if this is a stupid question. Do they do seismic while they are drilling in the hole. By this I mean can the geologist glean extra information about lower targets while they are drilling the upper targets | shanieboy01
28/10/2015 21:47 | A lot would depend on analysis I would say. SFB is truly huge in prospect terms - hence why Noble were keen in first place BUT oil in non-commercial quantities is a geology positive - proving source. In all honesty though exploring isn't really en vogue right now. Time will tell I suppose. | thorpematt
28/10/2015 21:24 | Not quite sure what Noble are going to do in the Falklands now other than wildcat drilling. The NFB is taken up with partners. They could takeover FOGL and get their interests in the NFB or have a look around Borders acreage. Drilling at Rhea for them is another long shot. | whoppy |
