Time to test your skills. The November oil stock competition is on! Deadline for entries is midnight this Sunday. Good luck.

Too many players in the north with mixed percentages to be a worthwhile investment

They need to unite

Efagie.....I honestly don't think the Falklands are a top priority for Noble at the moment.
Looking at their website they have so much else going on globally, they could be thinking their cash could be better spent elsewhere for now.

If the data is good they won't walk away, but they will go for the easier targets while the POO is subdued IMHO.
Only IMHO, and I could be totally misreading it.

Agree agna re-failures of equipment depends on what was it. But what if isobel comes in better than expected, would noble look to get into more in the nfb, helen/susan? likely the only additional drill, unless of course rhea comes in.

regards the sfb, though its unlikely, given time to go over the detail from humpback, as there's some 3 months more drilling going on in the north, might they think by going downdip a little there's better sand depths? or just reposition the drill spot.
Knackers fogl somewhat given cash being needed, would they turn it down or deal?
Noble have what, some $4bn debt facility, and given the cost would be going onto the next years financial capital costings......

nothing more than some of us have said agna. Don't forget that the exploration area is what some 200 times bigger than the north seas oil area, so what happens when all things have been recalibrated and looked into? Would noble let it slide IF rhea fails? given their temporary rig will have little time left.
Though they could wait until the new harbour is done.
Remember the shooting fish in a barrel if oil was found, it was found but just not commercial. Yet?

Edit; They halve the price for the rig, would you turn it away?

This is a bit more upbeat, but I still can't see rigs returning to the SFB for 2 or 3 years. And only then if the POO is $80 or above.
At least the cheaper rig situation bodes well for the NFB.

buywell, as poems go that is rather poor ;)

This reads a little better...

"That FOGL bought DES ses a lot

The drop surprises me not a jot

Other Falklands Oilies now in a pickle

This drilling lark seems rather fickle"

Ariesr.....exactly. no hedge funds invest in AIM penny share companies for the long term.
This is not a well regulated trading platform.
Once you get to grips with that, you can learn to trade for profit on AIM.

FWIW....if you want hedge fund type security in your investments, if I were you, I would avoid AIM all together.
I'm not joking when I call it a casino.
I am gambling with what I can afford to lose here.
I learned the hard way, but made it work for me since I learned.
