Your deep in a Falkland oiler that must wait years for first oil?

Why not just move onto panr or another soon to be producer - easy simple and less in the way of risks.

Carnage. A lot of money wasted here for non-commercial wells.Are the Falklands really worth it? It's looking very risky down there.

High pressure can be associated with tight sands, it can also be associated with large accumulations in good sands.

Humpback didn't have tight sands though, porosity of 10-15% cannot result in low permeability in sandstone due to the relationship between porosity, grain size and permeability.

With a mcap of £44m, if Nobel want oil and it's in the North then maybe can buy FOGL for the price of Humpback.

agna, they found oil, but not commercial. And the reservoir sands are not very good. It seems none of them will be in the fan and channel plays. Looks like further south in the folds and tilted fault blocks the reservoirs are much better, as at Darwin. It seems these areas are the most likely place for production. BOR is the only one with a commercial find and yet doesn't get any investment. Hope Isobel is a commercial discovery. Just aswell it's a free drill. Can see FOGL being bought out on the cheap. Drilling wells is too expensive for them now.

Whoppy - are you ever serious?
All that faff about them having a seal and oil etc - did you really believe it?
They have the wherewithal to finish Isobel - and that's what I'm in for.

Keya - I got my next order at 13.12 - but I think we'll have to wait a little for it to dip again.
Not too long hopefully.
Good luck with it - and ignore the johnny come latleys - just the usual derampers.
Filter them as they only take up good page space, would be my advice.

I like These small Oilers, but this is 2 bits of news in 2 weeks...They cannot continue to pay wages etc.
