22/8/2015 19:42 | Maybe triple reservoirs at Humpback? posting by Borgo on iii board. 19:19 Buy - Rob roars borgo22 6UP One legged Pete's brother, Rob has just finished his bacon sandwich, scoffed down with some Chateau Rothcild. Rob is in great spirits and very happy to see one of the local girls pot the eight ball by completing a three way diagonal. One legged Pete is happy too and looking very tanned after his beach holiday. Here comes the Sun ! | whoppy
22/8/2015 19:42 | Buywell, What are your thoughts on Xaar? heavily reliant on the Chinese market, they have issued one profit warning already and bounced back. They look ripe for another to me. | a.fewbob
22/8/2015 17:04 | It was a bad day Friday for all stocks..next week will be the same probably unless China comes up with something new over the weekend. Any good news stories will be seized upon. | whoppy
22/8/2015 16:56 | Doesn't matter what ships/rigs are doing The chart is heading lower and 17.5p previous low looks like being tested next week FTSE and general UK market has some catch up yet to get into line with US markets which look like heading lower still Chartwise DJIA to 16,000 next week looks the target No bounce and sideways for a few weeks perhaps makes the chart then get uglier still | buywell3
22/8/2015 16:12 | Yes, could be sidetracking?..It's moved 300 od metres..by the time the string gets down to the seabed some 1500m then maybe they can drill at a better angle to appraise reservoirs. It's definitely in a tight stationary drill position. Maybe it's why the completion of operations at Humpback has been put back to end of September, as stated by Noble. If they wanted to sidetrack it would make sense to do it now. I note Pacific Legend has just left Aberdeen and will take 5 weeks to get to Falklands. They've probably got supplies for the next NFB drill. Meanwhile they can carry on at Humpback. Have to keep an eye on the rig and see if it moves vertically back over the well, if it does then maybe no sidetrack and they have finished and will be plugging the well. If it stays where it is for the next few weeks then that would be interesting as they would be drilling still. Might find out Monday morning. It will either be nothing found and the rig will be carrying out plugging ops, or that they have oil and they are doing a sidetrack to investigate..I hope. | whoppy

21/8/2015 16:31 | They can conduct seismic from down the well by sending out sound waves and have a boat with a hydrophone pick up the sound waves and compare it with the logs. They can get a better idea of any find and callibrate the 3d to the known geology on the logs from the well.. the boat usually goes back and forth zig zagging at a fixed speed. | whoppy
21/8/2015 14:33 | Pacific Leader doing some seismic by looks. | whoppy

21/8/2015 10:13 | Whoppy - now that I agree with very much! I'm not saying it means we have a strike either - but I agree with the volume versus the price movement. I'm waiting for that RNS - whenever it comes. GLA (I should go out shopping -the price always rises when I do a serious shop!) | agnabeya
