20/8/2015 10:07 | PMO news today no more explo in the NFB until 2017/18 after this tranche of drills. | ngms27
20/8/2015 09:51 | agnabeya, just saying that pressures are likely reasons for a delay if the drilling is slow. Another could be that they keep losing drilling fluid into the reservoir if it has high porosity/permeabilit | whoppy
20/8/2015 09:47 | That's what I'm hoping. I can understand it taking longer if they have more work to do. That would be a good reason for the length of time. I think the oil is either there or it isn't, provided the reservoirs are good quality. The size of the channel sands and quantities involved will mean if it's there it will take time to evaluate..the only risk has been the seal..so if the oil has leaked out then maybe they are trying to find where it's gone..but in all honesty if the seal is good then it will take some time doing all the tests, especially if there are multiple reservoirs stacked. | whoppy
20/8/2015 09:42 | Whoppy....what gas/oil pressure problem are you talking about? Efagie....it could be dry, we just won't know either way until we're told. I'm much happier this campaign than with all the leaking info during the last one. yup. we just have to wait it out. Nothing else to do. :) (Remember Ronald Wayne.......) | agnabeya
20/8/2015 09:36 | The rig is still working so don't have to give news yet. you would hope if it was dry it would have been announced by now to all shareholders, not just friends in the city. They must have reached TD and are doing the logging side... | efagie
20/8/2015 09:27 | Yeah but aren't FOGL bound by London rules when it comes to releasing material news, updates? otherwise everyone can just keep quiet and only those in the know buy and sell. | whoppy
20/8/2015 09:22 | Its wrong they can go past the alloted times without an rns, but then its noble, who didn't even post an rns regards a spud. Shame its not like Canada, where they have to make a weekly post on progress.. | efagie
20/8/2015 08:49 | The rig is sure spending it's time looking at something, or trying to find something at least. Can't believe they are still drilling. Sidetracking yes.. but drilling vertically..Hmmm..un | whoppy
19/8/2015 12:33 | This is a mm shakedown but private investors have stop loses off..... very interesting | shanieboy01
19/8/2015 03:21 | Discussion of who would or would not buy the oil is not even irrelevant. If there is any there then it is a long way from seeing the light of day. As for the Argies potential interest in it, firstly Auntie Cristina will be long gone and secondly business is business (at least until some tubthumping journalist whinges that they are paying for "their" Malvinas oil). Far more interesting to see what there is and how easily it can be got rather than what today's spot market might make of it. | kingsize
18/8/2015 19:22 | Two weeks suits me fine 'cause I'm off to Limburg for a bit.... The annual pilgrimage to Spa-Francorchamps beckons.... Brooom Brooom...LOL. | the black spanner
18/8/2015 19:03 | should be no more than two weeks. | efagie
18/8/2015 14:49 | Several weeks away probably | ngms27
18/8/2015 14:49 | C'mon wheres that RNS.... bored now lol ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz | robpuguk
18/8/2015 14:28 | It's a fracking nuisance, agna ;-) | walter ego
18/8/2015 12:44 | US was not unfriendly just no market there given it's now a net producer and being allowed to export oil. Nothing more than that. | ngms27
18/8/2015 12:16 | Ngsm. At this point, I'm taking leave until some rationality returns. I can NOT believe what you just said. This board has become very strange the past few days, not least the normaly very rational Truly thinking the rig was back in the UK. So odd I'm not sure who I'm talking to here. BFN. | agnabeya
18/8/2015 08:47 | The US doesn't need the oil hence why would they buy it? | ngms27
18/8/2015 08:29 | Dont totally disagree. | shanieboy01
18/8/2015 08:10 | Shanirboy, what is your view? | chrisc168
18/8/2015 07:08 | Ngsm......I just noted that you have the US on your list as an unfriendly country who wouldn't buy the oil. Eh??? | agnabeya
18/8/2015 06:02 | Due to the current oil price. Success of humpback will only make this go up to 40p then everyone rush to push that SELL button. Then it will settle back to 28p or so.The only thing that can move the share price beyond £1.00 are either someone's buy the assets or a take over of the company. | chrisc168
17/8/2015 18:28 | not sure where you get exporting argie crude from? chile produces some 18,000bopd against importing some 180,000 bopd. | efagie |
