Personally I think it is a short to zero.

Even at zero I wouldn't buy it because of the marginal nature of these assets and the likely contingent liabilities going forward.

120m new shares to hit the market at a discount next week

Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:FO) ("Falcon" or "the Company"), is pleased to announce its application for admission ("Admission") to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange (symbol: FOG) and the ESM market of the Irish Stock Exchange (symbol: FAC) of the Company's existing share capital and the additional 120,381,973 new common shares in the capital of the Company to be issued pursuant to the concurrent conditional brokered private placement (the "Placing") of new common shares at a price of 14 pence (C$0.215) per share to raise gross proceeds of US$ 25 million (£16.9 million). It is expected that dealings will commence on AIM and ESM on 28 March 2013.

I'm afraid the Express website is even worse than the paper. :-)
I tried to find the article on the website earlier and couldn't, and I can't even get into the website now!

Suffice to say, their Monday City page has an AIM and ISDX column where it features 2 companies coming to the market or raising money in a rights issue. Falcon was one of them, and it just gave a summary of what the company was involved in, who was behind it, how much it was raising and when it was coming to AIM.
