Lipstick on a pig springs to mind.. |
They may ditch the UK listing as London market doesn't understand/rate resource stocks like US/Canada markets. Philip has been saying that since Ronnie Reagan was in office.Beetaloo is a World Class play and deserves a listing in the US market where hopefully the value will be reflected in the share price. |
The company reckons these efforts will “expand awareness of the company among US-based investors and potentially provide the company with additional sources of capital".
The wells are (broadly) similar to North America’s vast onshore shale, where horizontal drilling and fracking is required to unlock resources over large areas. |
Share consolidation at 250 old shares for 1 new share = a new share price of £12.50 or $16. However, often when this happens the share price falls by around 25%.
Being a higher share price it's going to be easier to raise money as would be issuing far less shares for the raise then would have been otherwise.
One thing I do know about U.S. stocks is how, unlike here in the U.K., they do not like penny shares. In the U.S. very very few shares are under $10, whereas in the U.K. very very few shares are over £10.
For once, changing the name of a company makes sense. Beetaloo Resources Corp lets everyboby know exactly where the main asset is located. Corp suggests to me going forward that the U.S. listing of shares is going to be more importance then the U.K. or Canadian listings. |
Wow becoming a US listed share would facilitate a takeover from The Sheffields in time. Philip flagged this corporate activity in his fireside chat with us a few months back. |
Philip should be very disappointed with market reaction to progress here over the Summer. Bought in here a few years back hoping for another Cove Energy(also founded by the legendary John Craven). Things have sagged somewhat since Hess Oil departed from the Beetaloo consortium. Origin Energy had all the energy and excitement of a Government Department. Some improvement since Joel Riddle of the exuberant hairdo took over from them plodders at Origin. Last chance saloon here for us long suffering holders... |
Have only a modest holding too. 100k shares. |
Still here too, but modest holding. |
I'm still here as per the last time you asked.... |
Are there any other holders on here or am I the last kahuna left on here??? |
Spudding time again at last! Will have to wait a while for flowtest results but they will be make or break time here.. |
Quiet as an ant's fart on here! $11.5m in the can.. |
Will have to wait a month or two for next 2 drills at Beetaloo. Will have a much clearer view of the value of Beetaloo after these drills are completed. |
Riddle with his gorgeous hair sure layers it on... |

Having the H&P rig now, Tamboran’s laterals going forward will be 2-milers, Riddle said. At some point, it expects to make 3-mile laterals.
Two new-drills are expected by year-end, resulting in two drilling spacing units (DSUs) totaling 51,200 gross acres around one of the new wells, Shenandoah South #2H.
The 23 pads and six wells per pad will result in 138 wells, Tamboran reported.
For proppant, it hopes to have a local sand mine in place in 2025. Prospective locations are numerous in the field, it reported.
Baker Hughes is also providing services for the wells planned for this year and next. Also having a presence in Australia are Halliburton and Schlumberger, “so we’re not going to be short of potential options for oilfield services,” Riddle said.
All of Tamboran’s wells are shut in for now. It plans to put in a 40 MMcf/d gas compression and dehydration plant and lay a 20-mile pipe to the nearby Amadeus pipeline. The 40 MMcf/d is expected to be online in the first half of 2026.
The pipe runs along the western side of Tamboran’s acreage, traveling north to Darwin and beginning some 600 miles south near Alice Springs. It also provides access to Australia’s East Coast gas market, which is expected to be short gas later this decade.
Stoneburner said, “Think how fortuitous it is that we found the best part of the field and it’s only 20 miles away from 12-inch pipe.” |
This article from today is huge and probably the best article on Beetaloo to date. Warning, it's a massive read so make a coffee and recline |
Impressive list of supporting entities for Tamboran. A veritable smorgasbord of Gilt Edge financial outfits..... |
First cometh the volume.... |
Yes old Daddy will hope to be hanging on for a while yet!!! |
Phillip's children are very bullish for the next 20 years |
Oh, Many thanks for posting Investor Meet link. Will be interesting to see how Tamboran IPO goes. Feel a wee bit more hopeful about next 2 years now after viewing the presentation but endless patience is required as always. |
Key thing going forward - Talking about promoting Falcon on the U.S. market (listing in the U.S. in addition to the LSE & TSX), following on from Tamboran U.S. listing.
No dividends, even in the medium term, rather investors making money from share price appreciation.
Build, Discovery, Sell Falcon off - maybe in the future, not today, not tomorrow.
The need to raise money hurts Falcon share price. Next Capital raise maybe via a Rights Issue, all Falcon share holders can take part.
Take over of Falcon difficult as no real major share holder to talk to. Only two share holders above 3% share holding, Lamesa - 14.16% & Sheffield - 10.49%. |
