An encouraging close today. 750k shares went through, mainly sellers down at 86p, so someone has been sat on the bid and they closed unchanged at 87-88p. Hopefully the start of a turnaround.

Oversold should read only-ever-sold, not a single purchase!
RSI = 0

edit:- 3 small buy trades virtually on the bell!

This must be well overdone.

It fallen continuously, with a few flat days.......no blue days since the start of the fall.

This is notnormal for a share price graph.

Trends tend to stick in the absence of guidance. The last set of results were very strong, management guidance about strategy was clear and the US market will be a big boon moving into Q3/4. So, still looking to double up but not until we're closer to 80, all good imo dyor ofc.

I think you're all being way too negative. The company has delivered in every respect bar a slight profit miss. Yes the FX market will consolidate greatly and margins will continue to decline, however it is the largest market by a huge margin and opportunities will continue to exist. Continued growth of client numbers is imperative, but they have shown the ability to do that.

It maybe a difficult 6 months until Brexit is resolved, but then the US business should start from mid year, so reasons to be optimistic. As for Amber / Blackrock they totally understand the FX market dynamic, declining spreads have been happening for 20 + years in FX since electronic platforms were introduced in the wholesale market.

Ill informed conjecture will not help the company or the share price.

Where FFX score is their Help Line, which, apparently is very good.
When things go wrong, or your card gets lost/stolen, they fix it quickly.

But, you pay for this.

When you put it like that it makes you wonder why Crystal are still buying and Blackrock still holding nearly 5%. Maybe they don't realise ?

I mean very soon you'll be able to exchange currency, make overseas payments etc, at virtually no cost (in terms of spread and/or fees). There's just so much competition springing up.Therefore the forex companies won't be making much, if any, money.

Margins at FFX currently over 1% on forex transactions but I'd guess that doesn't have a hope of hell of continuing. I might be wrong of course....

By “margin free” do you mean they don’t charge for it or that they buy and sell for the same price? Fees are easily replaced by the spread.

There's just sooooo much competition popping up in the forex space and margins are trending towards zero.

Oh wait a minute. Here's one already offering zero margin for forex...

I rather fancy FFX profitability from forex will trend towards zero, and with it the share price. That just leaves the banking ops. I'd rather invest in the South Sea Company or fashionable tulips...

Looks contrived for some reason. Crystal amber bought a few & Blackrock sold a few and we lost half mkt cap ?

Just seen the dramatic share price fall.I see folk on this board are sanguine. Could there be something else going on here apart from market turbulence?

The market overreacts there are many names in small cap world where this has happened. The fundamentals still look very strong despite Brexit. Investing is always about a longer time horizon and FFX is a definite disrupter in the payments space

Hardly a sensible comparison but I feel your pain having lost big previously... as all traders do.Chart is shocking but there are support levels to look for and a well timed rns will quickly reverse this trend imo dyor ofc.

Basic rules which I admit I don't have the discipline for...
Some old stock market maxims and the last line from Kipling!
Only buy dips on the way up!
Never try to catch a falling knife (chase a stock in the wrong direction)
Never dance with the same lady twice ( don't return to a failed trade)
Be a contrarian only if you have patience (buy low sell high)
Don't get emotionally attached to a stock
Always leave some for the next man
A profit is only when you bank it
Never risk more than you can afford to loose
It's the mistakes that teach you to be a better investor!
Remember the Stock Market is a device to transfer wealth to the patient!
IF If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs you'll be a trader my son!

What gotnorolex means is that some charts will keep going down and down - no short term or medium term recovery; losses will just keep growing and eventually force a capitulation.

Buying dips is different to buying drops in the belief of averaging!
Learnt the hard way a long time ago with Woolworths whom I thought were invincible!
