31/1/2019 09:33 | It is astonishing that the Crystal Amber share price hasn't suffered more with the tanking in price of FairFX from 150p in October to 90p now where CA own 20% of FairFX and which is CA's second largest holding. Good Luck All. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
31/1/2019 09:00 | Richard Bernstein, founder and fund manager at Crystal Amber tweeted yesterday with regards to FFX "We are buying". HTTPS://twitter.com/ | discodave4
31/1/2019 07:59 | The significant weakness in European no-frills airline passenger numbers point to significant softening of overseas travel. - Brexit-related issues abound. The company appears to be doing very well and growing strongly by acquisition - and organically but the overall sector is becoming more competitive and overseas travel is dampening. Good company but increasingly tough sector backdrop. It would not surprise me if current sectoral issues further depress share price despite credible performance from Fair Fx. Good Luck All. - timing remains key. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
30/1/2019 20:55 | Good, did you get a sense of whether they truly believe they can grow substantially from these volume levels, and whether there are other revenue streams they'll look to add. The trouble with FX spreads is they are being contracted everywhere so you almost need to grow to stand still. | mcljeremy
30/1/2019 18:00 | The company needs to make more effort to spread the word. It's well known for what it does, but not as a share. Considering the move it had up over the last few years you never saw it mentioned on the ' Tip' pages of the nationals...…& | mcljeremy
30/1/2019 14:09 | Maybe the person you bought them from was selling them? | shellback
30/1/2019 13:34 | ah ok but I do not trust the way they show their buy and sell no either I belief that to day 937666 as sold and only 88744 as buy.Last time when I bought 10107 they show as sold as well when I bought a further 10000 they also show as sold. And why I have no idea and it is wrong. | leonidas
30/1/2019 13:26 | No, 92.09 - had to double check my account :) | rathean
30/1/2019 12:37 | where they 5000 at 92.0850? | leonidas
30/1/2019 11:36 | Just added a few at 92.08, showing as a sell. Don't believe the advfn colours. | rathean
29/1/2019 14:01 | It is not a pure currency play! A fall in the value of the £ may influence the extent of transactions...both at a personal or corporate level. Trade will continue as will travel. | gerihatrick
29/1/2019 12:38 | Sterling strengthened from 1.25 to 1.32 roughly at the moment! FFX has tanked further in this period, when it should have bounced! This stock is purely a currency play (it's in the title) BUT it's out of sync! | gotnorolex
29/1/2019 12:31 | Canaccord recently appointed as joint broker so perhaps no surprise on the buy recommendation. | rp19
29/1/2019 10:57 | FairFX initiated as a buy at Canaccord today according to Bucas on Twitter. Should help to steady the ship! | martinthebrave
28/1/2019 19:19 | MartinNo problem. | discodave4
28/1/2019 18:48 | Doesn't matter - price is what it is. Means bigger sellers are willing to sell it down - that's all that matters. | davr0s
28/1/2019 18:09 | Martin - you wouldn't; just saying what the chart looks like. The drop isn't logical. | sandoval
28/1/2019 17:38 | Thanks Alan@bj & DiscoDave4 for posting. Looks like one to top up as soon as Brexit is sorted. | martinthebrave
28/1/2019 17:18 | It's worth listening to the CEO on Proactive Investors. This link was posted by DiscoDave4 yesterday (post number 386): - | alan@bj |
