28/1/2019 16:54 | Why would you have a Rights Issue when over a third of your Market Cap is Cash? | martinthebrave
28/1/2019 16:15 | Looks more like a rights issue than a decent trading statement since every company in the market could talk about Brexit headwinds. | sandoval
28/1/2019 15:20 | since the 230000 buy at over 99.9254 only seller.............. | leonidas
28/1/2019 15:03 | Two sentences at the end of the Trading Statement for the year-ended 31st December 2018 , issued on 25th January , explain it all . The Update states " Ongoing , and potentially lengthened , Brexit negotiations continue to provide macro-economic headwinds for the business . The board is pleased to confirm , however , it expects 2019 to be another year of significant growth " . So , there you have it : the first sentence spooked the markets , whilst the second sentence expresses continued confidence in the Company . In my humble opinion , this is a buying opportunity , but DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH . | mrnumpty
28/1/2019 14:35 | Another foreign exchange company which I hold ( Alpha FX ) is down , though only by 0.76% , and that's after a decent rally , unlike Fair FX . However , whilst other subscribers sometimes object to quotes from tip sheets , the latest comment in Small Company Share Watch regarding Fair Fx was nearly three months ago , in the monthly magazine which reached subscribers in early November 2018 . The magazine rated the shares a " buy " at £ 1.19 , and stated that Cenkos forecasts £ 7.7m pretax ( = 4.9p this year ) and £ 16.2m ( = 9.1p ) next year . so , even without allowing for net cash , that puts the shares on a forward p/e of 19.2 and 10.3 . Perhaps the markets fear that , in the event of a really bad Brexit , there will be a drop in foreign exchange transactions , though I would have thought that recent movements in the £ would encourage businesses to use Fair FX . Anyway , I'll now be watching this price closely in order to acquire more when the price appears to have bottomed out . | mrnumpty
28/1/2019 13:06 | I can only think it's Brexit. Tempted to buy some more, but it looks like it's going down further | buying

25/1/2019 13:41 | New Buy today for me 98.95p. Down 7.5% following decent update albeit £7.5m adj EBITDA -v- £8.3m f'cast (from £1m in 2017). 7.6x EV before today & now sitting on support level. May dip a bit more but a lot to like IMO. Buys being shown as sells. | martinthebrave
25/1/2019 13:41 | IC comment today:FairFX's (FFX) turnover (gross value of currency transactions sold, plus gross value of deposits into bank accounts) for the year to December 2018 was in line with management's expectations, at £2.36bn up 111 per cent. This was up 22 per cent excluding the acquisitions of CardOne Banking in August 2017 and City Forex last February. The company expects adjusted cash profits of around £7.5m, up from £1m. Brexit uncertainty weakened sterling against the dollar and euro last year, in turn "weighing on customer sentiment and activity". And continuing Brexit negotiations continue to act as macro-economic headwinds. But management still expects 2019 to be "another year of significant growth". The shares have fallen in recent months, but we remain positive. Buy. | lomax99

25/1/2019 11:19 | Totally agree Rathean & happy to add here too. Very positive update with a small miss, but fairly irrelevant on a longer term view as the huge operational gearing kicks in over the next two years. Chart looking a bit ropey (as do many others at the moment), but confident this will be seen as a great entry point 12 months down the line. All imho & nai of course..... | xajorkith
25/1/2019 10:48 | So glad to be back in at 100 and change. Taken a much bigger stake. OK a marginal miss on forecast but remarkable growth with confirmation of continued aggressive expansion. Happy to sit on these medium term. | rathean
