New research note out. Lots of terribly undervalued stocks. That's probably down to the very poor investment climate for small business and the generally depressing times we're living in. These situations never last forever,(or we're all dead but just don't know it yet), so if you've got the money........

David Whelan, CEO, ENGAGE XR said: "We are confident that having secured Lenovo as a channel partner in September 2022, the launch of the new headset will enable us to grow our international reach and customer base. As the headset becomes available in selected markets, we anticipate seeing further revenue growth during the second half of 2023. Lenovo has a large global market share in enterprise and education, which is ENGAGE's target market, and it should be a fruitful partnership for both parties. We continue to believe this partnership will help establish ENGAGE as the business platform of choice for these organisations."

"Lenovo is one of the world's largest computer manufacturing and smartphone companies, and the ENGAGE proprietary software platform will be available on the new headset. As previously announced, the partnership agreement with Lenovo covers the resale and distribution of end-user licenses by Lenovo of the ENGAGE software on the new Lenovo headsets. Over the last few months, the Group has trained and worked with Lenovo's sales team. The launch of the headsets opens a new route to market for ENGAGE and its software as the Lenovo global sales team actively look to sell the Group's technology and metaverse production capabilities directly to their enterprise clients."

Update from Pires this morning including mention of 'expected liquidity events' (what a phrase, eurghhh!) from the portfolio which Engage is a part of.

As that portfolio includes several less sellable assets, it only strengthens the likelihood of them being the seller here.

Corrientes, I suspect SURE are the seller, they (and PIRI who have a stake in SURE) mentioned recently looking for potential exits to portfolio positions, and that they would update the market with 'developments'.I don't think that reflects on Engage's prospects, just a natural AIM mechanism playing out, frustrating though it is.

I hope this persistent seller finishes soon, then we might see some positive action.

Nothing particularly new in these results, loss was flagged up, funding secured and headcount cut. That they have 'something', I'm in no doubt. Their technology is surely disruptive and market leading. They wouldn't have likes of 3M and HTC on repeat business, plus Lenovo among the customer base, otherwise, and added to their blue chip clients two world famous banks - one of which may - or may not of course :) - be HSBC....My issue, well, the issue, is to what extent deals are loss leaders, or have profitable substance going forward, because the losses will have to be turned into profits at some point, preferably sooner than later, before potential competitors catch up. Recurring revenues will play a major part in defining the company's future.

A very interesting article in the business section on the RTE app “Reality Check “ metaverse where this is going. Reading the article I was somewhat dismayed looks like it has a long way to go possibly will take years before the metaverse will catch on. Engage got a small mention . It’s a good read.

I imagine they would if it works well and becomes popular enough. I like how they are not trying to fully replicate a 'real' concert but make something unique to VR in Engage. Hopefully AI will enhance the usability of the platform. The Athena demo looks promising.
