Nope, they client roster is mightily impressive. I guess that comes from being an industry leader & committing to their vision of the future years before 99% of the world even thought about enterprise VR.

“In my personal view, this is as big as the internet was in the 1990s,” Cliff Justice, KPMG’s US leader of Enterprise Innovation, said in an interview. He compared it to businesses realizing the internet’s communications potential beyond email.

"The hubs will enable employees and clients to enter and conduct business, or work on projects together, with individuals represented as avatars. The hubs will be “built on a leading platform,” KPMG said: “We are agnostic to platforms and will operate across many.”

As KPMG develops its own guidelines and methods around cryptocurrency and NFT transactions in the metaverse, it will use that knowledge and experience to inform its consulting services for clients who are interested in entering the space, Justice said.

“For us, it’s really about making these investments early,” he said, noting that other KPMG businesses will eventually set up metaverse hubs.

"KPMG U.S. and Canada are opening a metaverse “collaboration hub” to connect employees, clients, and others with Web3, a so-called decentralized version of the internet built on blockchains, the firm says. It’s collectively making a $30 million investment this year in Web3 experiences, with the metaverse “hub” as the “signature piece.”

“The way we look at it, it’s not just augmented reality and virtual reality. It’s really the next iteration of the internet. It really encompasses everything that the internet would encompass, but it’s more interactive,” Cliff Justice, KPMG U.S. leader of enterprise innovation, told Fortune of the metaverse and Web3.

The “hub” will be primarily centered around “education, collaboration, training, events, and workshops,” Justice said, adding that KPMG is currently using it for such things, but plans to recruit employees to build and scale it more as time goes on. Long term, the firm is looking at health care, consumer and retail, media, and financial services as other potential metaverse use cases."

Fantastic update, as you say a repeat customer renewal + contract value growth is exactly what you want to see. The ENGAGE website says we have 160 customers at present (vs 139 reported in Jan), if each was spending €100k per annum total revenue would be €16m...

My wife and children tell me that I should have been around in the 19th century, never mind the 20th, as my knowledge and understanding of technology is probably less than zilch.

However, purely by accident I came across this metaverse, and taking into account my personal view of how society is 'developing', and what I think is likely to happen, I've been buying into this company for a while now.

I see it being swallowed up by one of the big boys after it's credentials have been commercially proven, but hopefully not until we see a substantial appreciation in the share price.

Agree EXR is crazy cheap at these levels - it was seen as cheap when it IPO’d 4 years ago never mind now…

I was looking at the admission doc yesterday and the competitors section had the following;

“Eon Reality – Eon Reality develops AR and VR software and solutions allowing teachers and students to create a blended learning environment. This includes virtual environments allowing users to meet regardless of geographic location. Additionally, Eon Reality currently provides services to a range of industries, including medical, aerospace and energy. The Directors consider Eon Reality to be the most comparable competitor in the VR space at present, although Eon does not provide users/educators the tools they need to produce new content.“

Googled them and they are listing in the US this summer via a SPAC and an enterprise value of $655m



Can’t find a presentation or anything on current revenues but will find out soon enough…

Admix is merging with Landvault, a builder in metaverse worlds like The Sandbox and Decentraland, as it pivots into Web3. The combined company will be known as Landvault and will have a valuation of $300 million.

Landvault is a prolific builder of virtual experiences in worlds aimed at attracting people into blockchain and metaverse ecosystems. Landvault had more than 100 specialized metaverse designers and developers. Now the new company is basically a metaverse experience builder, or a metaverse construction company, with a total of 180 people.
