Alright chaps I am back

After OUR inspired chat at 450 regarding shorting the h*ll out of this useless stock.I am back.

Stay short. The markets will rally on the back of a financial short term rally. However come earnings these financial stocks will turn the markets yet again down.

Experian will be sub 300p based on technicals and the lack of any confidence in their business model.

DO not get BULLISH or you will loose your underwear as well as your Shirt.

I have bee short from 440 and still remain short.

Why are you so confident in this stock? Have you checked the crdit market out recently?

Having said that if the DOW breaks 12,725 i will come out of my short as i think wider markets may track further (and consequently EXPN) on anticipation of IR cuts.

We shall see, remain longer term bullish on this though.

Wille - no I lost the big one last year don't want to repeat that again. Though I don't think there is much more downside I will wait for the results.

So what's your basis for feeling so confident?

I lost a fair bit on this stock over the last year. Couldn't understand why it was getting bashed. So I'm a bit reluctant to get back in before they announce their results. Every quarter at result time I was optimistic (and on the face of it their results were fairly good) but they got hammered.

So this time I'm wary which would mean they will def. go up.

Wot - was Experian trying to be somebody else? ;o)

Note: does not satisfy the criteria of an H&S as beyond the left shoulder is higher. However it could still go down! Suggest the Dow is monitored for direction.

Back in again at 368p.I gree with Go With The Flow and find that buying/selling in line with how the Dow goes (and generally also the FTSE)seems to make for some regularly profitable trades. Not massive gains, but nice and steady. No big swings partly due to the size of EXPN, but also it's not big on any radars just now and is reasonably rated.

Well, it's worked for me OK for a while now.

With this one or infact with any shares, the best thing to do is take a profit and re-enter at lower price.

Rather weak today. May visit 365p unless they get good price for PriceGrabber SOON.

FT says it went up yesterday because of rumours it is set to dispose of PriceGrabber.
