If i wa sbuying any banks it would be Lloyds (in fact i pilled in at 415 the other day)and Hsbc.

watch the premiums being paid on extended settlement . you are better off doing a cfd

yaz the most i have had long on expn is 750 pp I you would like to ring cmc and see if they will take that bet,they will say yes.I think you might be playing in a lower league.Maybe a few pound per point.

Wheather to buy it through broker or spreadbet EXPN?

i prefer to buy it throgh broker who gets it within the spread for t10 or t20 payment, no stamp duty.

UK financials heading back up.

Should be a good month for the banks. Down average 12% in last 6 weeks. Now the revanche, hedgies and US investment banks going long UK banks into results season and ex divi dates.

EXPN to follow like clockwork if not better.
