The profit before tax figure is not the same as taxable profits in this case i.e the impairment of non-financial assets (something relating to a goodwill right off) and fx losses must be added back to PBT to get to a taxable profit figure.

Additionally - some of the annual tax charge includes an amount for tax on the dividends distributed of $178m.

New to this board. doing a bit of research on 2019 financials and previous, based on current situation 2020 figures likely to be worse than 2019? i expect figures similar to 2016 so potential for relatively small loss this year. but then strongly back next year.

Also as an aside, anyone have any idea why the Net profit for 2019 was $326m when the proft before tax was $902m?

Im seeing this a strong recovery play, major markets in Russia obviously but then into China too

Got mine in HL in GBP,but my ii Trading account paid in USD,even after having the Multi currency facility was removed,or told it was ! Anyone else receive there dividend in USD.
