Kreature are you saying that no one reads fiction or goes to see films as they don't live in that world? Or play games or go to theatre or just about any leisure activity as it's not their everyday life? I forgot, some people live in different time zones!

Birt, I can’t see how the Melody phone experience would be better than just watching a video, but I wonder if they can eventually make it work as a great experience once we start to see AR hardware (such as glasses). That would excite me way more than VR tbh. Even at 6p I am not tempted although months ago I thought I might buy a few hundred K at 6p I just am not convinced VR will be a big money spinner for anyone, old hat.

It would be limited Richard, I agree. But then, it will give up to 3 billion smartphone users relatively easier access to Melody. Those who like it could then go on to purchase the headset.

birt...........you're right, I've made my mind up and decided not to invest here. There's just not enough interest and too much competition, and I can't see much revenue being generated from free downloads, licensing must be a nightmare. I think music is best suited as background support to proper VR experiences like piloting a spaceship to the moon etc, and not as the main event. IMO
