29/8/2018 11:13 | Trump, you're letting the weasel get on your nerves. | birtwhistle
29/8/2018 11:00 | Melody are always pointing out that their business is an alternative to actually being at the gig where distance, and the cost and unavailability of tickets make that impossible. Gigs are more popular than ever with music fans. That said, albums by top artists will sell into seven figures. So look at it this way - buying a gig from Melody's library seems an appealing alternative to simply buying a CD. And then there's the live gigs to come! | birtwhistle
29/8/2018 10:54 | Liar then Costax, so we can't believe anything you say? | trumpingtonsmythe
29/8/2018 09:31 | Sosandar 50% up since I mentioned about it,soon Sbtx as well,Wait and see | costax1654x
29/8/2018 08:58 | You are right Scotty, Live concerts is and will always be what people want to see. But so far this year my daughters have been unable to get tickets to see there favourite groups/singers as sold out within minutes and 2 of the acts were within 20 miles of home. Many tickets re entered the market at stupid prices which personally I think should be made illegal. Hence I believe vr does have a space to fill to enable anyone at a sensible price to watch. Some of the biggest income these days comes from advertising which in its self will drive revenue, Have owned an occulus since launch and very pleased with apps that can be downloaded, to many people are fixated with it as being only usable with melody which is a very narrow mind set. I admit it does get used for games most of the time but that is only because no concerts are available yet. Time will tell,, | shinto
29/8/2018 08:55 | Costax go away, you promised. | trumpingtonsmythe
29/8/2018 08:44 | Sosandar 40 percent up since I mentioned,SBTX next | costax1654x
29/8/2018 07:48 | Live concerts in person will of course always continue, if they didn't Melody would not have a business!! | adventurous
29/8/2018 02:45 | What can we use to really show off VR visual technology? I know, how about some sound. | kreature
29/8/2018 01:12 | Maybe Chris but I doubt a great deal of revenue will be generated. Most people are not that interested in VR, I’ve used my sons and it’s pretty cool but none of his friends have it or mine (male or female) and he rarely uses it opting for gaming online etc Secondly live concerts are awesome as you are there in person, it’s an occasion to look forward too, see in flesh your favourite artist and go with friends - otherwise download the album put on your headphones and chill or go for a walk. Third having the headset on for 20 or 30 minuted is enough. This could pull ok revenue I guess but after event, artist, label, agent, overhead expense etc any margin will be pretty skinny in my opinion. Maybe there will be a big VR leap in future but even then live concerts in person will continue to be the norm as they have always been. They will sell VR headsets but most will gather dust LT. | scotty666
28/8/2018 22:06 | I wonder who the first major Artist or Group will have a Concert streamed Live on MelodyVR.Will it be Adele, Beyoncé, Britney Spiers, Camila Cabelo, Coldplay, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Florence & The Machine, George Ezra, Jason Derulo, Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, Pink, Sam Smith, Sigrid, or Taylor Swift......? Any one (or more) of these would surely see a major spike in EVRH's share price.Tick tock. | chrisfillyourboots
28/8/2018 20:09 | Its not pre-installed. When I bought my oculus I had to go into the store and download it (it’s a free download). | axsrsw100c
28/8/2018 19:48 | @IgbertSponk Where do you get your volume of headset sales from ? I've just read "Still, seeing as Oculus and HTC haven’t revealed any kind of official sales figures, it’s the best we’ve got at trying to gauge the market right now. Will we ever know how much these devices have really sold?" hxxps://uploadvr.com Is MelodyVR REALLY pre-installed with the Oculus ? I couldn't find confirmation of this last time it was mentioned on this board, and still can't. VR headset sales are forecast to be (2018-2022), 55m, 63m, 86m, 84m and 85m. MelodyVR sales forecasts are based upon these figures being achieved, which without any confirmed figures (from the hardware manufacturers) will be hard to gauge. In my previous post, I mentioned 1,366 paying users. This was based upon 1 month of sales, whereas MelodyVR had been launched for 2 months by the 30th June, so this needs to be taken into account. | dsct
28/8/2018 19:28 | Costax said above 7p last Friday and he would leave, liar or forgetful? | trumpingtonsmythe
28/8/2018 14:26 | I get to your 110k figure much more easily - just look at the volume of VR headsets now being sold, including the Oculus that has Melody pre-installed. Once the buyers have played a few games, they'll have a go at music. CHING CHING!!! | igbertsponk
28/8/2018 14:14 | @IgbertSponk If Sony have been privvy to the download data, and it's so good that they've signed an agreement, why hasn't this positive data news been announced ? Even a "We now have >1,000 paying users." line in the interims would have been advantageous. I think the share price is going to just bounce along until any (paying) user figures are announced, major exclusive contract news, or the Y/E results - whichever is sooner. The H/Y revenue of £6,831, if all down to paying users, would equate to 1,366 users (at £5 per month revenue). They're going to need a rapid increase to reach Investec's 110k paying users by the end of 2018 - A greater than 80% month-on-month increase. | dsct

28/8/2018 10:50 | Badly timed posts of yours yesterday, eh Kreature? Latest RNS is music to the ears of Melody supporters. (Good pun, don't you think?) | birtwhistle |
