this is why you don't add to losing positions. It is now an insignificant amount for me.

Looks like the market has decided this isn’t viable.

Surely it won't be long before CEZ make a low ball offer for the 50 per cent of Cinovec they don't already own. Ideal time given pathetic equity valuation and before the EU cash arrives.

Are we expecting a delay to the announcement of the timeline for the DFS?

Given the change of location from Dukla to Prunerov, Additional geotechnical work is underway, Results from this are expected to be available at the end of September, DRA Global Is then expected to provide a detailed timeline.. Wouldn’t that be nice.

What difference will a new CEO make when all the big decisions are made outwith anyone within emh itself?

Interesting to see Qatar investing $180m into TechMet, which has raised $300m to scale production of critical materials including lithium. With the best assets in Europe ie Cinovec and Zinnwald at all time low valuations let's hope for some corporate action

I think the status quo here is not sustainable. Something has to give otherwise this will never get built. Only possible way out is for CEZ to buy out EMH interest in the project company. And while that won't deliver a big uplift for EMH it would at least create an exit event at a premium to the current pathetic value.

Robert, agree with the analogy, we are now not waiting for the DFS but for a timeline of when we can expect it.! On a fairer point, a robust DFS is necessary to get the funding to build, the collapse of the Lithium price is what they seem to be trying to mitigate.

Absolutely typical CCP behaviour. If they can't monopolise ownership of the physical mines they will do everything possible to make those mines uneconomic. All part of their long term strategy to dominate the transition metals.

If it’s not feasible within the EU then none of the other miners ie Vulcan,European lithium etc are viable either. Do you really think the EU or the Americans for that matter are going to be hoodwinked by a raw material price that is quite obviously suppressed?
13 million car making and service jobs in the eu depend on them doing the right thing.

The economic case is only viable when we’re comparing the market when it’s not scewed. The fast market podcast last week that discussed pricing was interesting. One of the panellist’s openly admitted that the Chinese were operating their converter plants at a loss but vertical integration within the country allowed the overall business to operate at a profit. This in effect stops any other miner/oem/battery maker from being able to compete outwith china. Cheating in other words.

Make no mistake the DFS is exactly what it stands for and support from the EU will be difficult if the economics suggest this is not feasible.

I’ve always wondered about the “sudden” change of site where amongst other things the reluctance of the locals being one of the reasons. I’ve held the suspicion that although this might have been part of it the bigger reason was that the dfs numbers were not good. One of the ways to make the numbers more palatable was to dangle the carrot of increased production which in effect makes the numbers more reasonable.Moving site to a bigger facility helps this.As always with this company we are left to speculate as to what is really going on.

I dont think we will see the DFS until next year TBH. Hopefully the lithium price will be better and other milestones have been knocked off by then that will be supportive of the share price. We are due the Q2 ops update before the end of July and if we dont get a more detailed update on some of items signposted in the recent rock stock interview, Keith's popularity amongst shareholder will hit an all time low...
