Posted at 07/3/2025 10:20 by dbfromgb This announcement significantly reduces the political risks to the project going ahead, and we are left largely with the economic risks. The DFS will establish at what price level the project is economically viable, and the likely outcome is not now but likely will be in the future. The view on Hotcopper seems to be that at that point EMH will be bought out. The buyout price will be disappointing to long term shareholders but at a premium to today's price, so if you are investing now (and not nursing past losses) this is far from a dodo imho. |
Posted at 02/3/2025 20:33 by robertspc1 Obviously lots of coverage about critical minerals in Ukraine. Meanwhile both EMH and Zinnwald lithium projects gathering dust |
Posted at 22/1/2025 09:23 by greenmachine1 Robert, I got your point but I was looking at it from a different perspective. The money that geomet/emh may get will presumably be coming from European sources therefore American influence will probably be negated. As to the Trump pronouncements during the week, critical elements are still being developed and funded. There has been no change to this as far as I can see. The only difference is the probable increase in hydrocarbon extraction. Folly by the Americans but the lobbyists are all powerful when you have a moron like trump at the helm. |
Posted at 21/1/2025 18:54 by greenmachine1 Sell up then Robert….looks like you have no faith in emh or Europe. Why would Europeans think twice about a European EV purchase when the US might be more reluctant? I find it funny because American cars have never been popular here so why would I care what they make or think. In my limited experience of US auto I have to say most or not all of it was garbage. Forget the yanks, in a way they admitted yesterday they couldn’t compete |
Posted at 15/8/2024 14:43 by greenmachine1 What difference will a new CEO make when all the big decisions are made outwith anyone within emh itself? |
Posted at 05/8/2024 10:24 by robertspc1 I think the status quo here is not sustainable. Something has to give otherwise this will never get built. Only possible way out is for CEZ to buy out EMH interest in the project company. And while that won't deliver a big uplift for EMH it would at least create an exit event at a premium to the current pathetic value. |
Posted at 20/6/2024 09:05 by wallywoo I like these times. Emh has fallen 40% in a few weeks on small volumes. The share price is testing the lows again. Uncertainty rules here. No one knows how commercial emh is until financing and partner agreements are completed.I picked up 165000 odd shares yesterday at 14.29p. I believe that before 6 months is up, there's a 60% chance of doubling my money. Possible I could lose as well, but the odds are in your favour imho. Let's see how it plays out!! |
Posted at 20/6/2024 08:39 by goodgrief SAV . . . trust EMH is not going to be left on the shelf. CEZ has been a pretty rubbish partner so far. |
Posted at 11/6/2024 07:18 by goodgrief CEO has little control over many of the timelines. Think EMH is hostage to the vagaries of European politics. Though you think he could get the DFS out the door. |
Posted at 11/4/2024 08:06 by someuwin WH Ireland note today - fair value 184p"WHI View: Today’s news is final validation, in our view, of the control EMH now has on its lithium chemistry. The testing was done on an effective Run-Of-Mine sample using average grade and mineralogy material. The importance of being able to produce a variety of acceptable, clean lithium chemicals is the wider range of offtakers that EMH can satisfy to broaden the customer base for the battery manufacturers in Europe. We continue to see fair value at 184p using a long-term lithium hydroxide price of $14,000/t and will update our assessment after the publication of the feasibility study, news of which is expected shortly." |
