23/4/2020 15:42 | That means there will a large funding or agreement to fund the construction . This will be a formality as project is fully de risked at this stage. The real action here will be post DFS unless there are some royalty or off take deals before that | jailbird
23/4/2020 12:37 | Just to clarify this take us upto start of construction not actually complete construction Wording are a little misleading further now . An English thing I think | jailbird

23/4/2020 11:43 | Not unexpected but reassuring.European Metals Managing Director Keith Coughlan said, "This is a very significant day in the life of the Cinovec Project. To have Europe's largest hard rock lithium project fully funded to decision to construct ensures that Cinovec is firmly entrenched as the pre-eminent lithium deposit in Europe. We are very pleased to be in partnership with CEZ in the development of the Cinovec Project. CEZ not only provide corporate, technical and financial strength, they fully share the Company's vision for the development of a lithium ion battery industry in Czech Republic."Cinovec Project - no current effect from COVID-19With the completion of the agreement with CEZ, Geomet will now immediately commence the Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") and Front-End Engineering Design ("FEED") programmes of work. The funds contributed by CEZ will fully finance Geomet and Cinovec through the period to construction permitting and commencement of construction. The principal components of the next phase of work on Cinovec are the availability of management and staff, ore samples for test work and laboratory staff and time. | steeplejack

23/4/2020 11:28 | Key points in the RNS: ______ The investment of EUR 29.1 million will see the Cinovec project fully funded to the decision to construct, paving the way for Cinovec to become the first European Union producer of battery grade lithium compounds from a local lithium resource. This makes Cinovec the largest hard rock lithium deposit in Europe, the fourth largest non-brine deposit in the world and a globally significant tin resource. ______ Worth multiples of it's current value. | jev1
23/4/2020 10:55 | That's because many are trying to buy in and it's NT most of the time at the moment. As soon as they manage to get some, there'll be more input on here. :o) | jev1

13/4/2020 18:47 | I'm surprised Elon Musk isn't negotiating for a slice or even 100% of the projects. I'm down substantially on my EMH investments and anticipated the BEV revolution. The only thing holding tesla back is the shortage of suitable materials for batteries. There is a "Battery-day" with Elon Musk, imminently or possibly into May, which will change the future for EV's and the dominance of Tesla worldwide in my opinion. | hopperagain
09/4/2020 10:42 | Some hangover seem to have cleared ; hoping to see some good correction | ishwar
08/4/2020 16:18 | Good post enteleon,I too see the recent virus issues will fast forward EV adoption as petrol/diesel are fazed in Europe and China. | jailbird
08/4/2020 16:12 | Useful RNS this morning giving more specifics on the CEZ deal. EGM on Thursday, April 23rd by postal vote for shareholder approval of the deal. I've bought three tranches in the last several days including in ISA to help average down and I would buy more on any weakness. * To me, the share price looks very cheap. * There will some push-back against China (possibly economic recriminations) as we emerge from the Coronavirus and certainly push-back against extended supply lines. * The car industry is economically crucial to Germany and the brands of VW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and BMW are badges of pride to the German nation. Thus, I see support coming from Germany, who hold the EU purse-strings, for a local lithium mine. * I sense that, in the near-term, the motor industry is going to be under intense downward pressure, but I believe that the effects of the virus will accelerate, not delay, the transition to EVs. * CEZ appears to be an honourable and certainly very viable partner with expertise in power and mining. * The Cinovec project is situated extremely well for European take-offs and there is an established mining community there. Hence, unlikely to be local opposition and, as unemployment rises in the EU (France already declared to be in recession), mining employment prospects should be welcomed. All the above in my opinion only. Please DYOR. Best wish to all and keep safe! | enteleon

04/3/2020 17:13 | Hi. The aim is to produce lithium hydroxide which is higher quality more valuable , company has been working on that aspect for some time now 18+ months Looks like we're starting to anticipate closing of the deal now. | dvsfm
04/3/2020 16:30 | Are things stirring ? I bought a few more today. There was a decent article in today's FT about the supply side crisis for VW and other European electric vehicle manufacturers for batteries. EMH below the radar, but a few canny folk are obviously keeping an eye on it. From prior intelligence, it would appear that our Czech partners are behaving very professionally and, given that the Czech Government has a major stake, I would have thought that dealings would be honest and above board. The EU has a green orientation and it would be a feather in the Czech cap to sponsor a local lithium mine. Yes, lithium carbonate is not as readily processable as lithium hydroxide, but I understand that lithium salts do not travel well and the biggest saline mines are in South America. Encouraging ! | enteleon
