Out again sold 5,000 @361.75p. Gold up too fast and a big barrier to cross in the 1018-20 range.Silver very weak not joining the rally and the Hui index weak.U.S. goldstocks not confirming the move.

Thanks mcmather , looks like we are getting the gold bounce I was looking for. Not sure how far it will go so I may get out again fairly soon. In the meantime I will enjoy the ride.

Hi Mcmather,
I do not have a clue how low they are going but I think that Monday and Tuesday next week will be key when we see how low gold goes. I am almost totally in cash ( just one tidler I have kept) but getting ready to re-enter my gold shares very soon.Probably next week.

Still out of these from the 390's and looking to buy quite a bit lower. One more big drop in the POG ( $100-120) before we go into sprint mode IMOP.

hardly a challenging group of selctions by Ambrian, but thanks for posting it.

Avocet are serial disappointers, Petropavlovsk look Ok, but they have had a lot of value increase built in already, European Goldfields certainly look good for a rise, IMO, and that leaves only Resoro as the only brave call, due to the jurisdiction, rather than any criticism of that company itself.

You might be right KS. I topped up hoping that the support levels of around this mark in Oct (TSX) will hold. Timing aint my speciality though....

Good timing my friend , gold has hit 1200 today and all the large gold shares are rallying. I thought we may be close to a top without some news but if gold keeps going we will have further to go imop.I am not a chartist so hopefully someone else can help.
EGU is my largest share holding having bought in around 190p so I have really enjoyed the ride. I will stick with them as they are a rare beast as all their largest assets are within the EU so you do not have the political risk of further afield producers. I really rate this share because of the huge potential for a takover at some point by one of the big players looking to buy a large resource in a safe area.
