bloody hell some posters ...... I thought I was the only one on here, dont write much though as not much point.

Hopefully we can start some good exchanges soon as this one looks ready to move. I cant see many of the european authorities wanting to stand in the way of approvals for any of this companies projects in current climate... obs tax revenues etc etc.

Has any one done any NPV calcs on this company?

Konig's purchase should provide a little assistance in terms of the general trend of the share price (upward).

At what point to start buying again, I wonder.

Surely the Greek government's predicament will only facilitate and accelerate the completion of the permitting process in Greece.

Possibilty of this breaking out this week on both sides of the water? If not, still confident of a steady rise as the year goes on and the outstanding permits are hopefully secured.

Mark, there is a quite a bit of stuff the company are awaiting news upon - ie the permits. However, I think that they are keen to secure the permit to process the stockpile of tailings at Olympias (2.4mt - 238k oz's over a 3 year period) - looks like this might be another year of limited income so any news on that front would be welcomed.

Bangor - hopefully plenty more to enjoy.

(The "error" bit was that, from my observations, canada tends to see double(?) the activity in EGU shares compared to here in the UK; ie this activity tending to influence the share price more than the goings on over here.)

I had already familiarised myself with the previous posts and felt referring to the market differential as a "schoolboy error" was being hard on yourself.

I appreciate the importance of the Canadian market but view it differently. I bought my EGU tranches in sterling and will sell in sterling with no currency transactions. The EGU price in £, while not operating in a vacuum, is what I follow.

Anyhow, that quibble aside, having held throughout the dark days of late 2008, I am enjoying the ride.

Bangor - look at post 701 re the main market being in canada. WW2's post yesterday (706) summarises matters pretty precisely. But yes, hopefully, all looking well for the mid-to-long term.

Hi Mark

welcome to what sometimes feels like a small, but exclusive club! Its true that the company are gradually ticking off the risks, as permits and financing for their various projects are secured. If and when all these are acheived and the company is in full production then we could easily be looking at £8-10/sh, which seems a pretty good risk/reward to me.

The only note of caution I would venture is that because much of the outlook is dependent on news flow there will be times when the market gets bored and the price gets sold down. we saw that earlier this year when the price fell from £4.45 in December down to £3.30 in February, before bouncing back to current levels. So yes, a lot of the downside risks are being overcome, but still be rpepared for some volatile swings in prices. Just grit your teeth and hold on.

I am new to this stock buit since it was tipped in Sun Telegraph 2 weeks ago and then last week in IC it seems a fairly sure thing.

Having done some research sounds like a lot of the downside risks have been overcome now.

lets hope for some fast progress
