24/10/2023 09:45 | He retired as CEO March 2023, final results were to 31st July 2023. He won’t now be on 300k. | christy41
24/10/2023 09:37 | Oddie was the ceo until he "retired" after Serenity. Suet | suetballs
24/10/2023 09:27 | Oddie is listed as a non-executive director . Why are we paying him well over £300,000 per year ? The Chairman gets under £50,000 as do the other non-executive directors . | talkman2
24/10/2023 09:09 | How the hell is that justified ? | talkman2
24/10/2023 09:05 | nearly £1.4 million staff costs on an £11m mcap company that is not operator of biggest project | currypasty

24/10/2023 08:48 | has anyone got an email address for EOG.. ie one that actually works, as the one in the RNS is ignored | currypasty
24/10/2023 08:48 | Snouts well and truly in the trough . Truly obscene The BOD are interested in themselves and couldn’t care less about private shareholders | talkman2
24/10/2023 08:43 | also from LSE "This just gone to the Nomads 'Following today’s RNS from Europa on the Final Results, I have some questions on the Remuneration Committee. In the period just reported, Mr. Oddie was paid £395k during the 12 month period, despite resigning as CEO halfway through the period. This was £92k more than his 2022 remuneration. According to the Company’s AIM Rule 26 disclosure, Simon Oddie is chairman of the RC. Therefore the CEO was a beneficiary of the 2022 RC decisions and is now returning the favour to the new executive directors as chair of the RC. That this cosy arrangement is working well for the directors is evident from the almost 100% increase in overall board remuneration from 2022 to 2023. I would appreciate your views on how this arrangement is beneficial for shareholders and more importantly, how it can be in line with Corporate Governance policies.' "Indeed always good to see director share buys, but come on, look at the 2022 board of directors total remuneration versus last year - almost doubled to £885 total. Simon Oddie still pulled down over £300k in the year to end July. It looks like SO got paid for his notice period AND he is still a director. Remuneration Committee still chaired by SO. No way is that fit for purpose. Alastair Stewart appears to be on another £200k, despite there being no new ventures of consequence since the doomed Serenity well. They are treating the shareholders with utter contempt. I will complain formally to the Nomads about their Corporate Governance, but of course this is AIM and shareholders are firmly at the bottom of the pecking order." | currypasty
24/10/2023 08:40 | from LSE "If any shareholder would wish to support a change here, please email me at pboilcraft gmail account. WA is now an independent shareholder and I think if we can garner enough support I can pitch a plan to him. Something has to change here, as it has truly become a vessel for the board to fill their pockets, rather than reward shareholders for their support. We have time now to come up with a plan to present to the AGM along with the votes to change the management. Last chance saloon." | currypasty
24/10/2023 08:38 | Too much shareholders money is being squandered on the directors salaries . Unbelievable remuneration. | talkman2
24/10/2023 08:32 | Most of our U.K. licences we’re also acquired whilst he was in charge inc Wressle. | christy41
24/10/2023 08:22 | PB was one of the original founders along with WA. From memory SO purchased 40k’s worth in the 1.8p placing for Serenity. Worth double checking from the original RNS. WA also purchased another 150k’s worth not so long ago after leaving the board at prices up to 1.4p-1.5p | christy41
24/10/2023 08:18 | Who is Paul Barrett ? | talkman2
24/10/2023 08:17 | The performance of the BOD is a disgrace and the salaries they are drawing is totally undeserved and disgusting . Some of that money could have been used for a share buy back Something has to be done here to help genuine shareholders who are massively under water . There definitely needs to be shareholder action . Enough is enough . How many shares has Oddie bought ? | talkman2
24/10/2023 07:27 | Suet,we certainly deserve it. Good to see Paul Barrett getting back involved as well. Hopefully start to stir things up and return some shareholder value. | christy41
24/10/2023 07:21 | Christy - could / maybe. Hope you’re right. Suet | suetballs
24/10/2023 07:15 | In fairness Serenity is a discovery and now with the potential of Tain add on it could be transformed. | christy41
24/10/2023 06:57 | Plenty of blood boiling over on lse - and rightly so. I am praying for a takeover or a success in Ireland. The Morocco write off put us into loss this year - another example of building a portfolio - and then we had Serenity! And I didn’t appreciate that Oddie was chair of the remuneration committee - says it all really. Suet - really fed up. | suetballs
24/10/2023 06:38 | Might be worth also trying the other board Tommy to see if anyone can help. As Kingivor posted looks like Paul Barrett trying to shake things up a bit. (crushcutflor) | christy41
24/10/2023 06:17 | Long term shareholders searching for a realisation of value should check out lse board | kingivor
