Well you used to put it up all the time matey, I just wondered why you had stopped that was all buddy?
Anyway's I 'think' we are both holders so should be aligned should we not?
I've been an investor for what 25 years (I think) in answer to your question but I don't really take too much notice of charts however appreciate a lot do.
I'm orf out for day now so don't take non reply as rudeness.

For clarification are all the pre-spud planning costs plus associated TW of Operator, part of the well manpower (planning) TW budget and hence carried?
I would have thought they would have been, because all of this work and preparation is well specific?

I was just thinking that Holmwood community appears to be a little more unified and persistent in their opposition, and it's Home Counties rather than a small Lincolnshire village, so while lessons might be learned, opposition is more resourceful and cohesive.

Drilling a well involves noise and disturbance for maybe a month. Testing and production would see production to surface, leading to armageddon (unlike the refined product which they put in their SUVs to drive to protest)

spangle, I hope we have learned all the lessons by then, and have a smoother journey

If the Holmwood well is successful, would the same hassles and delays as Wressle to (1) test, and (2) produce it be experienced

Jus - good point but limited value I guess until drilled and with UKOG connected to it, the rumours will be rife.

YES but it shouldn't be used for keeping the lights on chasing blue sky FFS.
By all means I hope at least one Irish asset will come off but I really don't think people appreciate the true risks involved here.
Part of the appeal of EOG was onshore production plus potential onshore assets in the hopper conveyor belt to keep this going 'ad infinitum' then gamble om some blue sky high impact 'possibles'.
All imho of course.

GWB well they wouldn't get rid of it for nothing ...

Absolutely I am a little more confident of HW now and bought EOG because of reasonable expectations of technical success for (UK) onshore not just blue sky Irish stuff, which whilst nice to have, is way up my (personal) risk assessment.
All imho.

Why get rid with 20% ownership and carried drilling?

At least though Holmwood is still on the cards ... I thought and hoped they would get rid of it ..

They deny intimidation of the Cafe Owner as well as the M25 Service station ... I wonder what changed their mind then if it wasn't intimidation?

Well what do you do?
If you have deliveries that need 'holding' etc you're in a bit of a bind?

"remove the requirement for the scheme to include an
identified HGV holding area."

one of reasons they used to refuse last time

Good chance of going through now, imo

Well yes but always nice to see the operator viewpoint as opposed to gossip boards and other partner companies putting their slant on things.
I am mildly positive with Holmwood now.
Does anyone bother to read that strange poster swampy over on lse?
