06/9/2018 13:21 | Well as I asked Jus over on lse (and you'll have to look at his post there for relevance) - I know he has me filtered (but not really here): Jus previously you were stating clearly that this deal should be signed and sealed BY NOW and constantly criticised me for posting in your words drivel - however now you seem less certain of this now - hence do you mind posting up your reason for this? Serious question I could have misinterpreted what he posted and am genuinely seeking clarification. | dunderheed

04/9/2018 20:25 | Finncap More frustrating news from the UK, as Europa is denied a lease renewal for the site of its planned Holmwood exploration well in Surrey. This follows the recent refusal by North Lincolnshire Council to extend planning consent for its Wressle development in East Midland. It is unlikely many investors own Europa for the potential of its UK business, with the materiality of its extensive exploration portfolio offshore Ireland the key attraction; here, partners are being sought and it is encouraging to see five farm-out deals announced since August alone, as exploration stages a recovery. Nevertheless, these UK assets need to deliver vital cash flow growth until this more material Irish exploration drilling kicks in, in H2 2019/20. Management has previously talked of developing a third leg to bridge this gap; news like today’s will only raise conviction levels. | tommy241
04/9/2018 18:38 | There's about to be something about Holmwood on the London BBC local news | jpodtrading
04/9/2018 16:39 | lithological heterogeneities 4 Sep '18 - 12:50 - 6189 of 6192 04 SEP 2018 DAVID LENIGAS "Holmwood can be drilled horizontally from Brockham and or HH. That's why Brockham is so important" | currypasty
04/9/2018 12:12 | I tell you what if it is a placing / RI then I'm off and angrily so. This is definitely what I DID NOT sign up to. If they can't farm out such a 'tantalising prospect' then you've got to be asking why. Jus you yourself were saying this was 100% banged on certainty to be signed off already with Vermicelli pet - if you remember. All imho of course and dyor. | dunderheed
04/9/2018 11:52 | I get the impression that Hugh has said a little bit more than he perhaps should have with regard to increased production and financing the drill on Inishkea .. I suspect we may well be looking at a self financed drill next year .... | jusmasel99
04/9/2018 11:48 | Have a look, if you haven't already, at the UKOG RNS, and Steve Sanderson's comment. | hashertu
04/9/2018 11:42 | I didn't hear the Cove analogy?! I was in and out lol but must have missed that? I am here for offshore Ireland to be part of a shared strategy (UK onshore keeping the lights on with some upside) and certainly not the only strategy! | dunderheed
04/9/2018 11:35 | I liked the Cove analogy myself,I think most of us are really here for off shore. | christy41
04/9/2018 11:24 | Fair play to Hugh that was a pretty good summary of affairs. If I had anything to criticise I don't like all the emphasis on we have done everything we can in Ireland - which could make me ponder - well did you do everything you could with onshore but a nice bit at the end about possible onshore upside - hope that's not just fitting some esps lol!! | dunderheed

Show vote On 11 Feb 2015: Michael Gove voted to require a more extensive set of conditions be met prior to consent for hydraulic fracturing being given. Show vote On 16 Dec 2015: Michael Gove voted for greater restrictions on hydraulic fracturing (fracking) to extract shale gas in National Parks, the Broads, areas of outstanding natural beauty, World Heritage sites, and near points where water is abstracted for domestic and food production purposes. | jusmasel99
04/9/2018 10:08 | Because they haven't buckled down on this as expediently as they should have done, I'd say, pretty simple really? Imho? Why don't you guys write to the BOD to explain further as it obviously isn't covered in the rns, which I find strange? I'm sure there must have been some (informal) communication as to why it wasn't renewed? Again all imho of course. | dunderheed
04/9/2018 09:40 | The lack of progress is down to the local councillors being able to run EOG around in circles over the slightest little detail. Currypasty is right, why haven't they renewed the licence? Surely a reason must be given especially after all the time, effort and expenditure we and the other partners have put into this. | 4sta |
