Umm I'm left holding the baby, lazily expecting a stopped clock may be right at least twice a day!
You never know, Hugh has bought a lot of shares with his own money and is quite underwater I'd say? I know that means nothing as he could be 'in love' with the geology but, it is all I've got and what I am placing my hopes on lol!!

The only things Hugh's delivered are his own pay packet and destruction of shareholder value.As spangle rightly points out he needs a substantial farm out before he can gloat.

roger who cares - unless they can translate nice pictures and big numbers on a PowerPoint to real money - I don't care that they can potentially continue this again and again and again - oh and pat themselves on the back for doing so - with the full respect of their industry partners of course! (Wonder who has been telling them that?).
Well here's hoping Hugh has spotted something with regard to Inishkea?

Spangle93 lol I was going to comment on that. The worrying thing for me is that it wasn't pompous it was naive and stupid.
As I've said a million times b4 but only to be accused of posting drivel, the difference is spotting and mktg real prospects as identified by industry (crystallising in deals) and not just throwing big exciting sounding numbers on paper (exciting to naive aim punters of course).
I don't know why, even though the evidence now looks NOT to be the case on this recent data room but I just have a hunch they may get one decent farm down?
As ever all imho of course.

Nothing concrete about progress in the data room. The chairman concludes, rather pompously
"Having built up an industry leading licence position in the emerging hydrocarbon hotspot that is Atlantic Ireland and having subsequently established an inventory of high-grade prospects in various plays that is attracting the attention of industry heavyweights, Europa’s management and technical teams have shown they can deliver."

Actually having achieved a farm-out on fair terms would equate to delivery IMHO. Until the point of convincing others to commit irrevocably to funding, it's all just paper pushing

US giant Exxon Mobil - a so-called 'supermajor' of the oil industry - has taken a 50pc stake in an Irish exploration prospect due to be drilled next year.

The move is a huge boost for the Irish exploration sector, as an entity with deep pockets commits to a drilling project that will boost the rest of the industry if the result is positive.
