19/7/2018 10:49 | They keep on talking about new drill next year. This had better be carried. I hope they don't have dreams of trying one themselves a la pvr? | dunderheed
19/7/2018 10:43 | dunderhead what makes you think there will be a new share issue/placement? | peterpiper5
18/7/2018 13:31 | pp5 - bruv (as u and me r the same lol) - DONT YOU DARE SAY SUCH THINGS - we know this is a banged on 100% straight up sure thing company maker deal as has been promoted on here many many times by certain posters so stop talking such sacrilege!! LOL! Actually I do agree there is (some) potential here for a deal of sorts to be done whomever is the operator but always felt, the time lines as promoted on here, were a bit 'ambitious'!! What worries me is all this talk of a well being drilled next year - 100% this has to be carried and not paid through RI / placement. That is serious point to make. All imho and dyor of course. | dunderheed
18/7/2018 13:20 | the cppib corrib deal with shell was expected to complete by end of first half of 2018 subject to government approvals etc i wonder if there is a hold up? transcanada cancelled a 15 billion pipeline project last year due to politics and environmental energy policy | peterpiper5
17/7/2018 10:29 | Planning application now on council website If anyone has a few weeks spare, can you read through it all? | currypasty
17/7/2018 07:38 | Jus. Dont call me an idiot that is plain rude. Also to accuse me of being pp5 is even more stupid. I said you can private e mail me. As I clearly stated, I do know quite a few at Nexen including senior mgt team. I also said very clearly I wouldn't want to compromise them in any way by asking or enquiring about their respective Irish assets and certainly would not expect them to do so in any way whatsoever. So are you saying then, that your friends have discussed with you aspects of their Irish work outside the public domain which could be construed as price sensitive? In which case they and you, are 'idiots'. Why even mention your friends at Nexen? What on earth does this have to do with EOG? | dunderheed
17/7/2018 07:29 | Dunderhead - stupid question - oh sorry I should have said peterpiper stupid question - or should I have said dunderhead - oh I don't know - two posters with the same grammatical style - who can tell on these boards who is who - so I can just filter both of you or one of you or each of you - you want to know the names of my friends? Idiot | jusmasel99
17/7/2018 07:21 | All the big boys?! Shell, tick. ENI, tick. Cairn (lol), Woodside, tick. Part of Cairns investment philosophy is that anytime they get 'big', they return significant capital to back to share holders. EDIT also have they ever really been 'big'? | dunderheed
16/7/2018 23:42 | Tommy Europa is a member of the Irish offshore operators association who wrote that article on behalf of members. all the big boys are members too. Shell, eni, cairn, woodside etc etc I agree with the article but the oil companies shouldn't have to argue the case, I don't think the big boys are there are plenty of other places for them to spend their exploration budgets. By having this debate the Irish are really shooting themselves in the foot. Whether or not the ban goes ahead it is delaying drilling decisions by years in my opinion. | peterpiper5

16/7/2018 18:45 | Not smiling today though. Normal share price action resumed. | dunderheed
15/7/2018 10:38 | Hi jus Who are the guys you know at nexen ? | peterpiper5
15/7/2018 10:32 | I know quite a few Nexen staff actually, so interested to who Jus does know? He's perfectly welcome to private e mail me. I hasten to add they would be far too professional to discuss anything with me outside of public domain and, I wouldn't dream of compromising them by asking anyway? | dunderheed
15/7/2018 10:27 | Woodside annual report page 33 shows their drilling plans too. | peterpiper5
15/7/2018 10:17 | Hi jus It was q1 2018 tenders. The tender list date is q1 2018 not the drilling. They put the tender out which would of course be for 2019 you don't tender for a few months time. I made an assessment based upon key bits of information. I could be wrong but the bit of information that there is in the public domain points to that drill not happening in my opinion I will not pretend that i know nexen staff though like you know them. In that case you must be correct if that is what they are telling you. It's useful information to highlight for investors. | peterpiper5
15/7/2018 07:26 | Linkedin not Indeed | jusmasel99
15/7/2018 05:20 | Not old information at all. Nexen had scheduled Iolar for 2018 but they put it back to 2019 - I agree - you should have a look at indeed - the guys I know at Nexen are still there but more to the point not everybody shoves their profile on Indeed. | jusmasel99
14/7/2018 17:04 | Jus That's old information Last year the 2018 Q1 tenders for nexen were on Achilles.com for drill ship for se Ireland they are gone now and the nexen employees profiles on LinkedIn explained their roles in the Ireland licence. If you look they all ceased too and their roles are on uk continental shelf where the focus appears to have shifted. | peterpiper5

14/7/2018 06:18 | Iolar License LO 16/7 Porcupine Basin awarded following 2015 Atlantic Margin Licensing Round Geological assessment complete and “Iolar” prospect deemed drill worthy Approximately 215km offshore in 2000m water depth Exploration well planned for summer 2019 Well site geophysical survey concluded Anticipated that a drillship will be used for drilling (predicted duration 90-120 days) | jusmasel99
14/7/2018 05:53 | petrel has blocks with woodside in ireland. have you seen what petrel said last week about oil investment in ireland? go and take a look at the rns and post it here? | peterpiper5
14/7/2018 05:53 | another observation is that all mention of possible nexen or woodside drilling wells has disappeared. it was hoped nexen would drill iolar next year but doesn't look like that to me. | peterpiper5
14/7/2018 05:47 | hi rayrac yes i did say that the porcupine assets weren't good enough imo at the moment. based on no single large prospect. as regards Total, they have farmed into providence not europa my reasoning is that the recent drills in porcupine were targeting several billion prospects not several hundred million | peterpiper5 |
