15/6/2018 13:24 | I know who that was - a PI I know. | dunderheed
15/6/2018 12:52 | Another 200k buy? | tommy241
15/6/2018 12:16 | GuessWB as well, fyi, in larger e&p companies 'normally' there is a clause in directors contracts that they invest 'x' amount of money in company in share purchases by a pre determined time period. Obviously this is not a large oil company but thought I'd mention the existence of such clauses. | dunderheed
15/6/2018 12:14 | Well yes but tbh surely this is less than his net salary and also these two surely do not need to work anymore? i.e. they work for other reasons - not remuneration package? What do we infer about inside information as well then? I've always said that they could purchase anytime because Hugh has always stated that any assets are open to farm outs if the right offer came along - hence effectively nothing 'inside' there then? All imho of course and interested in Jus slant on this because from memory, wasn't he one of the ones who was inferring this inside information theory? | dunderheed
15/6/2018 12:08 | Maybe he needed to raise the funds to buy. Its not obligatory. It's good news that he sees this value as a time to buy. | guesswhosback
15/6/2018 11:58 | Exactly that's my point? Has the deal they were 'supposedly' working on fallen through? If we were inferring correctly that they were not able to buy because of 'impending' deal - then surely we should infer now - this is no longer the case? This is what upsets me about mediocre mgt teams. Surely they were perfectly within their rights to rns when the directors joined, that they were now insiders and were excluded from share purchases? Hence it would be clear to 'us' now that any inferences we may have made (I do not include myself in that group) were probably not as originally expected? | dunderheed
15/6/2018 11:58 | Why not buy at 3p months ago? Or could they? | tommy241
15/6/2018 11:44 | so, if they can buy now, why didn't they months ago.. does this mean there is no 'inside info'? | currypasty
15/6/2018 11:15 | Yes but what does that mean about news then? Surely he was the chap brought in to work on the 'Corrib deal' (hence was aware of 'inside information') and there was a 'feeling' on here that this was the reason why he had not been able to purchase to date? Serious comments please? | dunderheed
15/6/2018 11:13 | Simon George Oddie, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, today, purchased a total of 250,000 who's next? | currypasty

15/6/2018 11:05 | RNS - 250K Directors buy | volkswag
15/6/2018 11:04 | Lol - good timing with that comment Mr CP ... if he had to wait for the oil barrel conference to be inspired to buy shares than that is not a good sign ,... | jusmasel99
15/6/2018 10:13 | 250k buy... interest sparked by conference yesterday ? | currypasty
15/6/2018 08:18 | I wasn't saying that mate. I was just saying that it is all very easy for us to hypothesise about 'this and that' with regard to Corrib and it almost seems there is a (certain) expectation this will happen and, soon. If it doesn't happen quickly then there will be a certain disappointment I think. Here's hoping anyway. | dunderheed
15/6/2018 08:09 | If they have raised funds partly to fund holmwood, they must think its going to happen | currypasty
15/6/2018 07:48 | Let's hope your other hypotheses hold more water Jus. It appeared to be a nailed on certainty that Vermicelli petroleum would be farming into our assets?! | dunderheed
15/6/2018 07:45 | With UKOG raising funds again for their share of Holmwood (how many times have they done that?) it suggests that my hypothesis that they would buy us out is off the mark. In answer to a question posed here earlier and one that has done the rounds on other boards - the reason why Holmwood was chosen as the exploration site was that the well could intercept both the Portland and Corralian prospects. There were no other possible sites that could allow this to be achieved. However should one or both of these deliver hydrocarbons it is possible for a production well path be planned from a different site in order to intercept one target. I have no idea if this could be from Brockham. They could also elect to drill the exploration from another site but again that would have to target only one prospect and would be considerably more expensive. | jusmasel99
