Mining License Application ( MLA ) process has been progressing well with 95% of the requisite reports completed and submitted to the Regional Mining Authority, with currently only one environmental report outstanding that is in the course of being finalised. The Company and Denarius will seek to complete this detailed submission process over the coming weeks.

Europa Metals reports zinc in all holes from Toral drilling

Europa Metals Ltd (AIM:EUZ, JSE:EUZ) said assays from the latest drilling at Toral in northwest Spain indicated mineralisation in all seven holes.

Environmental studies are also now nearing completion, it added. These will form part of the formal submission for a mining licence to the Mines Department of Castilla y León.

Best of the drill results included 7.95 metres (m) at 4.46% zinc equivalent, 4.95m at 22.7% and 6.65m at 8.1%.

High values of silver were identified in one of the holes.

Myles Campion, executive chairman and acting chief executive, said: "The current drill campaign is nearing its close and pleasingly all holes have intersected mineralisation as expected, with assays now received for all of the completed holes.

“The intersections reported to date have correlated well with the known existing resource.”

Now we know why the delay in reporting the drilling results:

The Company had been awaiting re-assays and re-confirmation of the results for several samples, sent to the laboratory over the past several months, prior to releasing this announcement. In particular, one of the holes reported an abnormally high silver value (hole TOD-045, average grade of 160.52 Ag g/t) and as part of the Company's standard operating procedures (SOP) when we receive abnormally high results for either zinc, lead or silver, we re-submit the relevant sample for re-testing in order to confirm its veracity. We have now confirmed this value.

All the holes drilled in this campaign have intersected mineralisation,which is excellent news

Last update regarding their drilling was back in May 2023.

There has been no further update from the company and that's not good enough:

Drilling operations are ongoing, in line with the objective set out above, and further assay results will be announced once processed and received. Hole TOD-044 has been completed with assays having already been sent to the labs and TOD-045 and TOD-046 are currently being drilled with targeted depths of approximately 610m and 810m
respectively.

Commenting today, Myles Campion, Executive Chairman and acting CEO of Europa Metals said :

"The first drill hole of our infill and confirmatory campaign has illustrated the robust nature of Toral and the current indicated resource. Hole TOD-043 has displayed a thick, well mineralised intersection in keeping with the existing holes in the area. We look forward to providing further updates as we progress through the rest of the drilling programme as results become available".

I was just reading your post of the 23rd Zoco. Very strange ?
So what you are saying is when they bought Toral this was 50p
Having sunk £12M into it its now worth 2.5p ? Am i missing something ?

The only people to ever make money here are the Directors who took millions in remuneration and presided over a 99% share price collapse.

Oh and when this was started it was the equivalent of £10 a share allowing for a 500:1 consolidation. That's the real drop from..... £10 to 2.5p

Iv'e been buying these ever since they did the deal with Denarius Metals , which valued the company at more than 8p.

One of major problems for the company over many years was funding required to keep developing Toral they kept diluting shareholders and that's the main reason why most who were buying the shares 3,4,5,6 + years ago have lost their fortunes.

The company will not be requiring funding for the Toral project for a very long time because Denarius Metals are now developing this project and the company will also receive $2,000,000 as part of the deal.

Lack of news flow from the company has prompted some to sell and move on but Toral is being developed more aggressively by Denarius Metals than Europa ever managed sine they acquired the project in 2016.

We'll see where the share price is once they have completed Preliminary Economic Assessment ( PEA ) and the Pre-Feasibility Study ( PFS ).

I'll be holding the shares for some time as the story unfolds.

There is a lot of work going on regarding Toral but lack of news flow from the company has had a negative effect on the share price over the last few months.

The company released news today after more than 2 months.

Hopefully they will issue a bit news flow over the next few weeks.
