Yes,Petra - I know them well. Currently approx £300m mcap, was probably four times that at one point, with a current enterprise value of £840m - so it's had a tough time. Goes to show though, that it can happen and when it does it's big bucks. As far as AIM companies go, EUZ does appear to have a better chance than most, and LR and MC appear to be doing the right things. DYOR. GLA! IMHO.

Well said Hedge - sums it all up nicely really.

It all comes down to Management, in the end, along with a very large chunk of Lady Luck. Management can easily make VERY large mistakes, very quickly and ruin years of good work - it happens all the time.

I've only known 2 AIM miners really make it to the big time on AIM in 20 Yrs, Aquarius Platinum and Petra Diamonds and since then, one has gone bust and the other is now in Dire Straits (admittedly on the FTSE250 Index).

So pay yor money and take yor choice, but the odds of successfully making money out of junior mining, frankly, are probably better on the 4:30 at Kempton Park, with Joe Coral.

Euz has a better chance than most IMHO, but its no "Slam Dunk" certainty.

IMHO. DYOR. GLA.

Thanks GD.

We all need to do our own research. We are all biased in different ways when looking at stocks, sometimes without knowing it.

Very few mining companies make it to being a producer. The odds are that most junior mining companies on AIM, TSX, ASX etc simply will not make it. The ones that do are the stuff of stock market legend!

This one ‘feels like’ it has better odds of making it, and we’ll have to wait patiently while the management do their thing. Junior Mining companies are not for widows and orphans without doubt.

As far as filters go I like to see a potential big deposit early, and then I like to stick with it, because I personally believe that is where the most money gets made simply because:

(a) the growing deposit (8mt to 16mt plus, and rising) drives the SP, and management are already describing it as a potential world class resource, and

(b) because these are the type of companies most likely to be acquired by major mining companies in search of tomorrow’s reserves. (We know there have been site visits already).

I am here for the mine but if we get bought that would be a good run with a very large ‘bag’ multiple in Itself and if we retain smelter royalties as part of a negotiation then that would give EUZ a very good income.

DYOR. GLA.IMO.

Hedge,

Thank you for being transparent. I have to been there. Just a novice when I lost a small fortune on AIM. Fortunately for me and with the input of a few ADVFN posters I managed to get my act together. Greed was one of the reasons I messed up. Now, I play with only what I can afford. I do admit though I to take a punt now and then. Life is too short without taking a wee bit of a thrill now and then.

The toral lease was bought for more than you think. If there is a demonstrable intention to mine then several million needs to be paid to Lundin plus a share of the smelter Royalty. It’s an old contractual and still relevant clause that has carried throughout ownership from Lundin onwards. I reckon they will get those millions .. it incentivises further work on the asset at the purchasers expense - EUZ - as can be seen - and they get a fair portion of the upside. EUZ own it 100% but Lundin are not stupid. Luckily there is PLENTY of upside to go around if the asset is proved up (the contract was written when we were at 8m tonnes, we are now at 16m tonnes and rising- so we got a bargain on the £millions, but Lundin will get a smelter windfall on the 16m tonnes). Note: there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between Myles Campion’s approach and Merlin Marr-Johnson’s approach. JT was not the right guy to lead the company IMO. The difference is like night and day. I also reckon we will get to 25+m tonnes in due course with higher grades and improved resource classifications.

Thanks GD however i have been in this game for longer than i care to remember..just came completely unstuck here for various reasons. Like a few others still here i bought these at 19p...yes 19p :-) and after a while forgot about them as they were in a relatives name and came back to me via probate, next time i looked they were sub 2p. When FCR admitted the BFS had never been started despite it having been supposedly running for 12 months and been granted an extension it became clear the company was dead. Tooth bough the ~Toral lease for peanuts to keep the company alive and his £125k salary..FCR and its iron ore project was dead and so all of us old holders were bounced into this zinc play whether we liked it or not. As it happens it was and is a free ride for us as our money was already dead with Moonlight /iron ore.

I bought more over time to average down then sold 10m at a large loss at .12p about a year ago then bought 20m back between .06 and .08 over the next few months so basically got about 7m for free.
I have a rather jaundice attitude to this stock, its unfair because this is a different company now but its following the exact route the last company did and which i suppose all small start up miners do however i have seen and heard all the predictions of wealth and boom before and this time i am understandable skeptical.

So why do i hold/Bother ? I just would like to think i got out at least even, it's just a personal challenge really, i don't invest anymore, i did very well over the last 25 years and quite happy to be out of the AIM.

Posted previously spec. I am not a clairvoyant, but I am speculating that price and value will catch up. There are key events that trigger different reactions in share price The TP note contains some interesting comments hinting at - more metal in the ground - I.e higher specific gravity - therefore higher grade. In addition we can expect a nod to increased tonnage through drilling to the east, and an upgrade in resource classification. I am speculating that industry will like what it sees - an improvement on a ‘world class’ resource. I am positioning myself for that event. BTW the current market cap is £6.78m therefore £30m is a 4.4 bagger from here, and £60m is an 8.8 bagger which in itself is proof that price is trending upwards towards value compared to a month ago. IMO it will keep trending upwards and testing those key value points.

Hedge,

I guess they're likely to be multiple small account holders within those noms, but its rare you'd see the share register dominated so greatly by so few sources. I think THR for example has over 2000 shareholders and that's probably still small compared to some.

Ed.

It’s an interesting statistic. Not sure how they derive it tbh. It could be other nominee accounts representing retail accounts maybe?

I noticed that JIM nominees declared at about 4.5% and now have something like 11%. Not sure what sits behind that nominee account - it’s based in a small building in Tunbridge Wells. Nice accumulation!

Hedge,

Yeah that was a good one for sure.

You think this is bang on:

Only 8.92% of the shares outside the top 20 shareholders?

Wtf is the herd gonna do when it arrives? There'll be none left.

Ed.

Joose,

The tone may not be that exciting but the info is quite joosey. Relogging going on, specific gravify being passed to the independents to be worked into the resource assessment. Lots of drilling for phase I and II. He also let slip SS "before Q4", I'll stick to my conservative during Q4 but there's no guarantee the market will though.

Ed.
