20/7/2005 07:07 | notalotuptoppie. More drivel. 6 posts in a row. On the sauce last night were we? Not worth a response. Luckily it seems most holders know what is going on here so I dont think I need to bother with you anymore. Still waiting for the notalotofbottle hot tip. Buarck buck buck buck..... | momentos
19/7/2005 22:23 | Had a dream last night, the administrators after a weeks negotiation, lifted the suspension amid news that a number of parties had tendered bids for ELH. The share quickly rose to 1.5p, moving on to a high of 2.0p, the final bid price. A happy ending to a sad story. Remember you heard it here first. | adnatrob
19/7/2005 22:15 | From iii Where did you get £27.5m from? If you look at the a/cs for the second interim for 10 months to end March you will see that equity shareholders funds were £2.6m. Since the operating loss was running at £1.3m per month I think we can take it that equity shareholders funds are now negative. When a company is in administration ordinary shareholders are at the very bottom of the pecking order and will only get anything when everyone else has been paid off in full. I therefore suggest that you do what I have sadly made myself do and write off your investment and move on to the next. Even more lucrative would actually be to take up a career as administrator. According to the documents I received from another company in administration, partners are charged at £275/hour (yes, that's half a million a year for 40 hours a week for 46 weeks), managers 170 to 195, other staff 25 to 135. Humph. -------------------- More | Respond | Recommend Sun 22:46 Net Assets of 27.5million? Jeremy L According to the fundamentals section eurodis currently have net assets of 27.5million, if the administrators cannot find a buyer for the whole company and it has to be broken up and the staff made redundant, is there any possibility of anything being left for the shareholders after all expenses in doing this? Does anyone know of any examples where this situation has happened before and shareholders have received something? or is it the case that shareholders always end up with nothing in these situations? | nonlottie
19/7/2005 22:11 | Copied from iii for your info and if you look further down you will see that of the total net assets of 27.0, 24.4 are labelled 'non equity interests'. These are the preference shareholders who have to be paid in full, plus all arrears of dividends, before those of us who hold ordinary shares get anything. Hence at the balance sheet date the value attributed to ordinary shaes was 2.6. That is the amount we would get if the group was sold for the amount of the balance sheet. For a company losing money and in administration that is exceedingly unlikely. | nonlottie

19/7/2005 21:55 | Stinger If this was the broker who put you into the stock he may be trying to let you down slowly........... If he didn't ask him why if the company couldn't be bought for 1p why it would be worth more after it was in administration.hardl | nonlottie
19/7/2005 21:39 | Momentos Just reviewed a few of the previous posts and realising that you don't answer anything.........any chance of a reply Spoke to an administrator today and explained how you would like the sale conducted.........an He was a little perturbed that fistly anyone should expound this view and mentioned as an example the sale of Rover for you to consider. This is obviously beyond me but I expect ypou would be able to explain the relevance of this When I explained that the enquiry was from a shareholder ...........the silence was deafening..I got the impression that he thought all the sane ones had gone long ago......from that moment on it was sort of difficult ....I think he thought he was speaking to the brightest one in the funny farm???????? PS Why have a lot of the originators/ main players gone so quickly...........or is there any chance they were close to the management...just a rumour I heard today. | nonlottie
19/7/2005 21:28 | I think it is very unlikely given their debt mountain. | isis
19/7/2005 21:23 | For all holders - I was speaking to a broker from wise speake today who assured me that share holders would recover some value if a sale were to occur. If that is... Goodluck, it would be nice to see holders retain some value especially after supporting elh through all that equity raising. Really it's the shareholders who have given elh a chance & lifeline, I'm surprised the major shareholders havent made more noise over this?. Make's me wonder! | the stinger

19/7/2005 18:49 | the problem with fusebox is simple, he trashses a stock then has this compulsive disorder to ramp EKT at the same time. That's why he is a dead giveaway - he hs no intention of contributing to a meaningful decision as his ultimate aim is to pump and ramp EKT. | nineoneone
19/7/2005 18:47 | spectrum. These are forums for debate. Irrespective of whether one holds a stock or not. If someone posts valid views on a stock regardless of the fact they hold the stock, whether bearish or bullish, its not trashing a thread or stock. If only bulls posted their comments, then please tell us how potential investors will get a balanced view on the stock to make an informed decision ? | nineoneone
19/7/2005 18:43 | Spectrum, I will happily edit the offending post. As you will appreciate, 4 days of rubbish does cause a reaction. Directed at Fusebox really. | momentos |
