18/7/2005 20:42 | "Of course I forgot your only assessment of people is dependent on whether they happened to lose money on Eurodis" Er, no. So if you lost money on ELH according to you you're the kiddies. Er, no. notalotofbottle, I think you are an idiot because: 1) You post continuously on a bulletin board where you have no investment. 2) You take pleasure in other peoples losses. 3) You post information about administration that is confused and wrong. 4) When you can't answer a question you resort to calling the other person a bully. Pathetic. 5) You are too chicken to even name one share you are currently researching that you think is good. Apart from that, I suppose you are a really nice guy! | momentos
18/7/2005 20:13 | Momentos You can somehow now magically conclude that I am in the against ..........not doing...........and perhaps spineless........... So if you lost money on ELH according to you you're the kiddies. You really are a total idiot as well as a bully boy, and I can be sure no-one wants to hear your total nonsense............ | nonlottie

18/7/2005 20:00 | Ahhh... So you are empathising. Nice. I find you very empathetic. And your postings today and before have been so helpful... I can see the people queueing up to say "Thanks nonlottie for your confused explanation of the process of Administration and Liquidation". "Thanks for your empathy, it makes all the difference". People define themselves in life in two ways. Either by the things they stand for and do, or by the things that they stand against and don't do. It's far easier to be against things and not to do things. Unfortunately lots of people now seem to define themselves in this way, like you, by what they are against and wouldn't do rather than what they are for and would do. Spineless some people might call it, but who am I to say. | momentos
18/7/2005 19:53 | Nineoneone Hardly teaching fundamentals of investing but did offer some views pre administration - discussing likely return from administration and how they work in practice...... Currently evaluating all sorts but this is Eurodis thread and the only relevant info/chat is the chance of a return from the administrator | nonlottie

18/7/2005 19:31 | Notalotuptoppie: 1) You can leave the thread anytime. You have no Eurodis holding or interest nor any information or knowledge to impart to anyone. 2) Never mentioned liquidation? lol. Hey you may not have mentioned spades either but I'm sure you mentioned earth moving implements. 3) You can leave the thread anytime. You have no Eurodis holding or interest nor any information or knowledge to impart to anyone. 4) No one else has demonstrated themselves to be so incoherently stupid as you. 5) You can leave the thread anytime. You have no Eurodis holding or interest nor any information or knowledge to impart to anyone. And I will answer your questions more fully when you answer the simple question put to you several times by me and others: WHY ARE YOU HERE? | momentos

18/7/2005 19:26 | Barry, nice conspiracy theory, but if Doug was up to that I think a few shareholders would happily like to shoot him! BTW sorry for the nutters around the thread. I do have a confession to make. I have been paid by ADVFN to keep them occupied here so the rest of the site can go about its normal business. After the losses on Eurodis, you have to take what you can get. Unfortunately I missed out on my bonus. Got paid well for Fuzzbox, notalotuptoppie and Klarty Purse. But they promised to double my money if I got Haystack or a proveable alias. So near but yet.... Oh well, you win some you lose some. Cheers. M | momentos
18/7/2005 19:18 | I think this may already have been mentioned, but could being put into administration possibly have been a very risky 'plan b'? After the Phillips screw job, DR may have realised that the business was becoming unviable and without a buyout/merger would go bankrupt, returning nothing at all to the shareholders. Therefore after the deal fell through, he decided to force the sale of the company by putting it into administration, knowing that there would be a few interested parties and hoping there may be a battle to buy it. With the withdrawl of credit facilities, this was an ideal time to put the company into administration. By doing this DR was playing an extremely risky strategy, knowing it could go for virtually nothing, but on the other hand, unless another bid came in (maybe in a few months, when elh was in even more trouble), the company was likely to go under anyway. Conspiracy theory I know, but a possibilty? I would like to thank all of the decent conributers to this board over the last year or so. I have really enjoyed reading it and have learnt alot. Unfortunately there also seem to be alot of idiots around here recentley, and I find it quite sick how some of you seem to enjoy that many of us on here have lost considerable sums of money. Oh well. Anyway, I hope we do get something back, I think we stand a half decent chance and best of luck to you all in the future.. Barry | barrybaker |
