Re Elektron 2 individuals own over 25% of UK stock. Mr Andrew Perloff from Panther securities own over 11% and he is one hell of a shrewd investor.

Check his co out Panther Holdings PLC (or securities) he increased Panther phenominaly the last few years and would not be in EKT if it wasnt going places. He might bid himself Panther has plenty of money.

The second investor in EKT is John Kinder who has upped his stake to over 17% and now has over 14 million shares.

These are guys with serious money...not insitutions that are prepared to lose investors money !

It is their own money!!!

Debt is always the killer...EKT has no net debt and accumilating cash fast.

Look what they hace achieved the last 2 years...net asset value climbed from about 2p to 6.9p at the prelims in March. Net assets are believed to be higher now about 8p !

Look at spec7 thread he is away for 4 weeks but good info on there.

I am very sorry to hear that ELH has been suspended and a chance that PI has yet been shafted.....something to learn from here:
Continious off loading by instituition could have been a warning sign
As talks were in progress and announced there were no signifacant share price rise and that was a mystery to me.....
Anyway my heart felt symapthy to Ed and others........a lesson to be learned to keep away from tiddlers with massive debt. Having owned over 500k I have to thank my lucky stars that since there was no spark I had to sell to buy something else which was giving me a good return........

ok, so time for another 'Shareholders Action Group' by the way it looks...who's starting a new thread? How many shares are on private investors hands? What will be the reaction from Artemis / Eagle, don't they hold 30% of the issued capital?

I think that is the way it will go momentus...the bank have virtually withdrawn support so credit will tighten up all round. I think they will have no option to appoint admininstators.

Unfortunately it was the loss of the philips contract that sounded the death knell here. I did warn it would be difficult to replce the lost work and what made things worse was the poor fundamentals in ELH.

Be carefull in future and dont buy shares that look cheap on turnover. The market if full of shares with poor fundamentals. But at great risk.

There are quite a few undervalued shares out there with less risk. EVS and EKT are both set for a spike up. Not many out there will beat EKT. Its been tipped by that many i have lost count. Its not been looked at serioulsy hence the low share price

Well, don't know how much progress we will get today, but suffice to say if I was a supplier I would cease to supply now. No more stock on tic.

Unless there is a quick resolution we are in administration in days.

good morning - my holding is very small comparing with others here (200k) but I still feel gutted about all this. Just a thought / hope . What if this was carefully orchestrated - not many people would have accepted lets say 1p before the suspension but now we will all say yes please this is better than nothing! Any thoughts from more expereinced players out there? Can Doug take this private and offer us something for our shares? thanks and commiserations

Joe Blogg1000 have a look at EKT. The opposite end of the spectrum..low pe but fundamentals and outlook great. The AGM is at the end of the month and good news expected. Watshot.com are looking for 20p and are convinced they will get it soon. But there is more news coming they are not aware of. Any tax loses will come in handy for you guys they could be wiped out on EKT.

Morning ed3...out yesterday and lost broadband connection in afternoon until 2255hrs..when a 2 minute window (till now) let me find out the news. Not a good night!

Like Ed I've lost very heavily, unlike Chiansaw I have no job. My investment(gambling) career is ended.

Commiserations to all in similar situation and everyone who lost especially those working for ELH. To lose your savings is bad but to lose your job and all that can affect is terrible.

Well, I have blown 10k on this and 2.5k was in my Isa :((( So my list of suspension/administration continues, this year so far ELH and on offex Celstone. I should stop catching falling knifes but this was supposed top be on the mend according to the statements. This should be investigated if it goes to the wall!!!

The writing has been on the wall for this company for about two years. It has been ramped on this BB endlessly. Everyone ignored the debt.

The net assets were just stock and that always has a question mark over it as regards valuation as it cannot be realised into cash. The fact is that they couldn't sell the stock anyway and that was the problem.

As far as I am concerned the rampers got what they deserved. I feel sorry for the rest though.

The shareholders will get nothing.

This is going to the wall.

It makes you wonder what these Institutions are doing - this has major
shareholder backing and none of them seem to have been aware the Company
was having serious problems.
That is a pile of the Public s money they have let slip with not so much
as murmur.
