hmmm on fundamentals I thnik this is drifting down because AAU, EUZ and ECR all have very positive news flow at the moment. Simply money moving to the short term gains where as this is just going sideways for a while.

Charles why would Sinosteel take a commercially aggressive approach to cashflow to TGK? There's no benefit to SS in forcing TGK to raise money in advance of payment - it will just slow things down and cause bad feeling. Indeed, why would TGK sign a contract that forced them to raise money in advance? While TGK are a minnow compared to SS, nevertheless it's TGK who hold the cards in terms of the licence to what SS want! :-)

My understanding is that CS has negotiated a step by step work schedule with attached payments.

That's what I got from the recent rns and pod cast.

Previously he had been vague and indicated he needed to negotiate the finer details.

I think Sinosteel are supportive and gain nothing from screwing us over. They want the work and goof relations, so I think all will work out well.

cyber - my concern is this: Will Sinosteel pay the $50m in advance of design and prep work, which will give TGK a buffer and not require any further fundraising OR will TGK need to foot the entire bill itself PRIOR to the works being carried out and being paid by Sinosteel? I have known contracts to work in either way.

Driver post 24126, of the $50M from Sinosteel $26M has to be paid back as TGK's 15% contribution to the project, leaving $24M for the actual engineering design works and preparation etc.

Hi Penn yes it makes sense but I am waiting for a slightly lower buying price as there is nothing to indicate news at this point. So although I am sure the price is going higher I am not convinced that is imminent. I have plenty of dry powder though! If you look at 2018 there was a similar descending triangle which culminated in a spike - but that wasn't until November. So I will keep watching and a-waiting for now.
